The Prep Hoops staff is taking a closer look inside Tennessee high school basketball programs, months ahead of the 2024-2025 season. Our next team feature is McCallie School of Chattanooga, TN.

Head Coach: Kenneth White

McCallie graduated two stars, their two leading scorers: Parker Robison, Kenneth Chime (11.4 ppg, 11.6 rpg). Robison was the coach's kid, the floor general. Chime's athleticism and size will be impossible to immediately replace. Still, the team is strong again thanks to Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard 6'6" | SF McCallie | 2027 State #164 Nation TN 's continued development and transfer Jayden Scott Jayden Scott 6'1" | PG Newton | 2026 State GA joining from outside Atlanta. Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard 6'6" | SF McCallie | 2027 State #164 Nation TN is a Top 5 sophomore in the state. Kaleb Gallman Kaleb Gallman 6'4" | SG McCallie | 2025 State TN is the most veteran player on the team.

Kaleb Gallman Kaleb Gallman 6'4" | SG McCallie | 2025 State TN is steady as a primary or secondary ball-handler. Look for Gallman to score even more this season out of necessity. He will be up from 10.8 ppg. Wingard will be encouraged to attack and shoot at will. Jayden Scott Jayden Scott 6'1" | PG Newton | 2026 State GA is the one new player. He will instantly start at the "1". Artrell is likely to enjoy a bump in scoring and minutes as he matures from a sophomore to a junior. The team will lack the depth of 2023-2024. It will be experienced but lack the senior depth. Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard Ryan Wingard 6'6" | SF McCallie | 2027 State #164 Nation TN started as a sophomore though. He has a chance to be a Top 100 nationally guy.
