Laurel Shootout: Big Man Standouts

He established his position on the block well, sealing defenders with ease. Ackerman finished through contact well, being strong enough to power through it to get his layups off. He set solid screens on offense, always rolling hard. He played off [player_tooltip player_id='1685496' first='Jerome' last='Toby'] well, setting solid screens and being alert down-low when Toby is able to dump off passes. James dominated against Frasier Valley Elite 2, scoring 20 points, all in the paint, and grabbing at least 10 rebounds. He move well on the court, filling lanes well in transition and even being able to take the ball up the court himself. He can attack with his right hand strong with going baseline being his specialty so he can utilize his strength. After watching him and Mount Baker over the weekend, I think they could truly surprise some people this season. Reardon is a monster on the glass, being able to out muscle all his opponents to grab the ball. He sets great screens and is a big time threat when rolling right down the paint. He dominated throughout the weekend, showcasing a high motor and relentless effort on every possession. Larsen grabbed the ball high off the glass and quickly found his guard every time he was able to pull down the rebound, which was often.
