Out of all the players in the Indiana high school class of 2027, the near 7'0 [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] is one of the top overall prospects with the most upside and will almost immediately standout as soon as he steps into the gym. He has the size, length, and athleticism to play the post position with a lot of other raw tools that will be fine-tuned throughout his high school career and we saw a glimpse of that during his freshman season at Pike. His role is going to see an increase for the Red Devils, and that starts this weekend. Watch him and Pike inaction vs Crispus Attucks, Heritage Hills, Northridge, and Avon.

One of the more intriguing 2027 prospects that will be in the gym this weekend is the smooth 6'4 Homestead wing [player_tooltip player_id='2140416' first='Mack' last='Welker']. With already some really solid varsity experience for the Spartans, Welker can shoot is very well from behind the arc and is a legit pick-and-pop threat, maybe the best in the 2027 class we have seen thus far. For his age, he already has the size and maturity to standout this weekend. Watch him and Homestead this weekend vs Hanover Central, Washington, Brownsburg, and Evansville North.

Even though he is only a 2027 prospect, the 6'2 point guard out of Bloomington North is already near at the top of the list when it comes to varsity as he was given the keys since the first game last season to run the show for the Cougars. He plays with maturity, a solid IQ, has a lot of length for his age and is a player that has gotten better and better each time we have watched him. A guard that has all the tools and upside you want to see at the level. Watch him and Bloomington North this weekend vs Fort Wayne Luers, South Bend St. Joesph, Warren Central, and Westfield.

When it comes to wings in the 2027 Indiana high school class, this 6'3 perimeter player out of North Central stands near the top so he is an obvious breakout candidate this weekend. He is left-handed wing that had a strong AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 2027 Red and has shown lots of good flashes for North Central so far this month. Given his size and skill, and how physical he plays, he is a major mismatch problem for any defender. He will make some great plays in front of a lot of coaches this weekend vs one of the four of Noblesville, Evansville Harrison, New Albany, or Northridge.

A guard that just continues to impress each time we have Prep Hoops Indiana have watched and one that every college needs to get to know is [player_tooltip player_id='2140324' first='Bles'sed' last='Thomas']. The 5'11” lead guard is truly dynamic with the ball in his hands showcasing the ability to break his man down consistently, create separation, and score from seemingly any spot on the floor. He recently transferred from Pike to Shortridge so this will be the first time most see him with his new squad but one thing is for sure, the production he brings on the floor won't change. Watch him possibly breakout vs Northview, Mishawaka Marian, Liberty Christian, or Shelbyville.
