Additionally, Riley will reclassify into he 2024 graduate year and head to the Illinois campus a year earlier than planned.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Riley chose Illinois from his final list of destinations for next year which also included Alabama, Arizona, Kentucky and the NBL of Australia.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On top of being our No. 1 ranked 2025 player, the 6'9” Riley was considered a Top 20 prospect nationally for the 2025 graduate year. According to multiple online reports, Riley is the highest ranked prep prospect to commit to Illinois in the last twenty years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During his junior season at Phelps School the most NBA ready player in Pennsylvania averaged 26.5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists per game while shooting 40% from deep. In late February, Riley posted 25 points to go along with 6 rebounds in the PAISAA state tournament semifinal game. Back in early February, Riley dropped 42 points on national powerhouse The Patrick School (NJ). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the grassroots circuit Riley plays for UPlay Canada. On the past spring EYBL circuit Riley averaged 21.9 points and 2.5 dimes per game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
