X: @Brodiefred14
Brodie is a physical and strong player who can play inside or out. His versatility makes him a threat whenever he touches the ball, as he can score at multiple levels. He has a really good first step and will finish above the rim. He is a fearless and relentless competitor who impacts both ends of the floor.
Jake Conner (6’2/SG/’25)
X: @jake7conner
Jake is a highly talented athlete who is lethal from behind the arc. He has shown the ability to make shots from all spots on the court. He is an experienced player ready to lead the Springville squad his senior year.
Luke Ballard (5’10/SG)
Luke is a two-way talent who provides high energy on both ends of the floor. He is a high-energy defender who is very disruptive, as he moves his feet really well. Offensively, he can score at all levels, and his point production will be needed this upcoming season.
Coaches Corner
Coach Easterwood is really looking forward to seeing the senior leadership that Brodie Frederick and Jake Conner will bring to the team. With three returning starters and a senior-heavy group (six total) who should provide leadership and experience as the season goes along, Coach believes that his squad can make a run late in the season.
Coach Easterwood’s squad is geared towards a fast-paced game, aiming to spread the floor and take the best shot available. Recognizing the team’s lack of height, they plan to accelerate the game in various ways and seize every opportunity to push the ball in transition.
Coach Easterwood is looking forward to June, as it provides an opportunity to play live competition and see where his team stands for next season. He hopes to clearly identify his team’s strengths and weaknesses coming out of the summer.
