Continue ReadingThe Region 7-4A Player of the Year is somewhat of a sleeper still but quickly becoming a priority target for astute D-III programs. Cochran is a well-rounded perimeter scorer. He nails threes off the catch and is good at getting to his spots in the mid-range. Cochran is a crafty slasher as well, one that can catch opponents off guard with how bouncy he is. Defensively, Cochran excels at reading passing, good for a few deflections and jumped passes per game.
Slim continues to grow, now standing 6-foot-8. He can certainly be described as skinny, but is still competitive underneath the hoop. What gives Williams such value is his soft shooting touch. He is a true stretch forward that can knock down 15-footers and threes on a consistent basis. He is fit for pick-and-pop screens. Small schools may want to do their due diligence.

Another forward that has had a late growth spurt, Ben Abernathy Ben Abernathy 6’7″ | PF Adairsville | 2025 State GA is an interesting prospect now at 6-foot-7. He has quality mobility and is a threat to hit threes and put the ball on the floor when attacking from 15-feet and in. He’s a reliable rebounder and has enough foot speed to cover ground on switches.
Highlights
Angel has great size. He’s effective in the high post and low block, using his length to see over the defense. He corrals rebounds above opponents in traffic and can score with a baby hook. Isaiah has good instincts on defense and is light on his feet, able to block multiple shots in single possession without getting caught flat footed. Isaiah has room to polish up some things, but he is a viable candidate for schools looking for a big man they can mold.
Highlights
Woods is a steady playmaking point guard. He attempts to get others involved first. He sees the floor well with skip passes and can beat his first defender to draw penetration before finding open shooters. When he looks for his offense, Woods is effective as a driver. Elijah can guard either backcourt position.
