This past weekend the Prep Hoops Show Me Showdown took place in St. Louis. This is annually one of the best PHC stops for Midwest teams. We dive into a look at the point guards and combos from Missouri that made an impression on us.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528034' first='Jahi' last='Martin'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 15U)

Martin was impressive for Ramey over the weekend. The Francis Howell 6'0” combo guard has a super smooth game. He is a slick ball handler that won off the dribble, passed it on the move, and was crafty finishing around the hoop. Solid mid-range game and got to the line. Lot of potential here.

[player_tooltip player_id='2528025' first='Sebastian' last='Bolden'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 15U)

Bolden is a long and wiry guard that can really make shots from three. Got on a roll in the game we saw. The Clayton guard is a good shooter that also has a nice float game to match.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598820' first='Abraham' last='Nayou'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 16U)

This Maplewood product is a tough lefty combo guard that can really get in the lane with toughness and burst to score at the cup. Finishes well with either hand at the rim. Soft touch finishing game and can knock in a pull up two. Brings strength and toughness to the combo guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1424400' first='Christian' last='Williams'] (Gateway 2025 17U)

We have seen this Vashon point guard a lot in his career. In his game on Saturday night it was probably the best all-around performance that we have seen. What we liked was how well he distributed the rock on the move hitting guys with pin point dimes off live dribbles. Shot it well from the corners on threes, defended at a high level as always, and attacked when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1419868' first='Avian' last='Webb'] (Gateway 2025 17U)

Webb is a prospect we really liked over the weekend. The Staley point guard is a lead guard that plays with excellent pace. Good passing feel setting others up both in transition and the half court. Slick ball handler with euro steps and scoop shots. Can also hit an open three with consistency! Low-majors and D2s should be on him!

[player_tooltip player_id='1585279' first='Carson' last='Blesener'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2244352' first='Dangerous' last='Alliance'])

This Francis Howell point guard can really shoot the ball from beyond the arc! He drained five of them in a 21 point outing on Saturday. The scrappy lead guard mixed in some scores inside the arc, but he is best utilized as a sharp shooter from deep!

Michael Rucks (Illinois Orange 17U)

Rucks was a good secondary scorer in the backcourt for Illinois Orange. The U-City small scoring guard was tough as nails taking it coast to coast using his speed in transition. Despite his height he used his strength to finish well inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434322' first='Cayden' last='Flagg'] (Go Hard STL 17U)

The Pattonville smaller lead guard can really shoot the rock from beyond the arc. He made four of them in the game we saw for Go Hard STL. Crisp and compact shooting stroke!

Jayden Brooks ([program_tooltip program_id='2077051' first='Team' last='Ramey'] 17U)

Unsigned senior point guard from MICDS is just a winner that makes big plays. Smaller guard has some shake off the bounce and is a solid three point shooter.
