Max VanWeerdhuizen Max VanWeerdhuizen 6'0" | PG High Point Christian Academy | 2026 State NC – Point Guard
VanWeerduizen is one of a few ball handlers for this talented Team CP3 Academy bunch who can make things happen on offense. He’s shown he can create for himself in isolation as well as an ability to get others involved as evidenced by their unbeaten record. He’s an underrated prospect in the 2026 class out of High Point Christian Academy for college programs to take notice of.
Ayden Johnson Ayden Johnson 5'10" | PG Caldwell Academy | 2026 State NC – Guard
Johnson continues to make waves on the PH radar out of Caldwell Academy. He’s sporting a noticeably stronger frame and utilizing it to get paint touches and make things happen as a downhill presence as an attacking lead guard. He led the way in the playmaking department this past weekend with 8.0 APG to go along with 15.0 PPG and 2.0 SPG and remains a top target for DI and DII programs in the region with offers from Radford and Carolina Christian already.
Dane Cassada Dane Cassada 6'3" | CG Calvary Day School | 2026 State NC – Guard/Wing
Cassada is another prospect who continues to climb up the PH radar out of Calvary Day School. He’s an underrated combo guard with a nice blend of athleticism and strength that allows him to keep defenders guessing at every turn. He’s a lights out shooter on the perimeter and off the bounce who’s just scratching the surface of what he’s capable of as he shines on the EYCL 16’s stage with Team CP3 Academy . Given his versatility, look for his stock to grow as more college programs get eyes on him.
Dashaun McKoy – Wing/Forward
McKoy is another versatile presence on the Team CP3 Academy squad with a knack for creating havoc on the defensive end and finishing around the rim offensively. He’s got good potential given his athleticism and burst to the rim to make waves at the LM/MM level as he continues his development with this group. He’s coming off a solid HS season as well with Harrells Christian and is another prospect with room to grow on the recruiting trail.
Kaleel Benjamin Kaleel Benjamin 6'4" | SF Sun Valley | 2026 State NC – Wing/Forward
Benjamin is a 6-foot-4 wing/forward prospect to get to know with this Team CP3 Academy . He’s a new face out of Sun Valley High who’s come on strong with this Team CP3 Academy 16’s group over the past few months. His versatility to operate at the wing/forward role allows him to defend multiple spots on the floor, especially as a rim protector. His athleticism and length are something to get eyes on for college programs over the next few months.
JB Shabazz JB Shabazz 6'7" | PF East Forsyth | 2026 State NC – Forward
Shabazz is also considered a highly-rated football recruit while he showcases his talents on the hardwood as well. He’ll make the move over to East Forsyth High for the upcoming school year where he’ll be a much bigger recruiting target for college programs to take a look at. He holds offers from UNC and App State already in football.
Prince Nwokemodo Prince Nwokemodo 6'10" | C Mount Zion Christian Academy | 2026 State NC – Center
Nwokemodo has seemingly found a solid landing spot with Team CP3 Academy on the EYCL 16’s stage as he acts as a rim-runner and rim protector on both ends of the floor. He’s shown a lot more aggression in the painted area as a finisher and creator in the painted area. He’s got good instincts as a rebounder and has shown he can put together good plays in spurts as he finds his rhythm on the floor. He’s a sizeable name for DI programs to keep eyes on.
