Danny Slizik has been showcasing an increasingly versatile skill set for the Steeltown AAU program. What has always stood out about Slizik is his elite shooting stroke. He has a compact, repeatable release. With his feet set, he is absolutely lethal from three-point range. While Slizik was more of a specialist last season for Chartiers Valley, his game has expanded tremendously in the early AAU period. He has taken on more of a scoring load, becoming far more aggressive putting the ball on the floor. Slizik has shown the ability to blow by defenders and finish plays around the basket. After earning Honorable Mention All-Section honors a year ago, it's clear Slizik is elevating his game for the upcoming season.
