Prep Hoops Florida hosted another premier high school basketball event featuring rising talent from the 2024-2028 classes. Saturday's Florida State Tournament provided 20+ AAU teams from 15U-18U a chance to compete against peers and to allow student-athletes to showcase their skills and compete against top talent in front of PH Scouts. Let's get into our Top Prospect Standouts from this weekend's event in Winter Haven, FL.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447066' first='Bryce' last='Robinson'] | G | 2026 | Fleming Island | @33cyrb

Robinson was one of my top DOG standouts this weekend who put in work in each game I got eyes on him. He's a smooth-developing guard who does the right things with the ball in his hands. The defensive effort was notable as well as he came up with a few steals and pushed the break well. Decent jump shot but a nice finishing game around the rim for Robinson.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679384' first='Manuel' last='Castro'] | G | 2025 | @DominicanMamba7

Another slept-on riser who we have had eyes on since his notable performance in a PH event before the fall season. This kid has a motor that's always on as he can push the floor, and crash the boards, just a do-it-all type of player who can make an impact at the next level. Castro has been on my radar since balling out at our Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo Event where he showed off great toughness and resilience to finish as a top standout. He's a physical guard prospect that can get him near the paint or surprise you with a decent jump shot. Castro also makes an impact on the defensive side with good anticipation skills and on-ball defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125501' first='Markel' last='Holmes'] | G | 2027 | San Jose Prep | @Markelholmes3

Holmes was one of the better well-rounded guards in the 15U group that showed off a nice upside to develop in years to come. He's a quiet killer on the court who can make an impact at all three levels. Once he gets that knockdown jumper to come together, he'll be a nice addition at the prep level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2446404' first='Jamarri' last='Bivens'] | G | 2025 | Southeast | @BivensJamarri

Bivens was a physical guard prospect this weekend with Team Euro who made an impact on both sides of the floor at the point guard position. It was the sneaky three-point shot and speed to the rim that he used to get his in the scoring column but the effort on defense and smart passes gave his game the full package.

Nate Perry | G | 2026 | Pedro Menendez | @NatePerry_2026

Really left impressed with Perry as he had one of the better overall complete games for the rising 2026 prospects. Perry has nice handles and ball control combined with a scoring bag he used to stand out from his peers this weekend. What locked his name in was when Perry continued to be a menace on defense while up 20 in the championship game. You can't teach effort and want to. Keep an eye on this kid heading into summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1498171' first='Tyler' last='Davis'] | G | 2025 | Palmetto | @23TylerDavis1

Davis was a motor machine as he gave all our effort for Team Euro this weekend at the PH Florida State Tournament. Davis is a slashing guard who racked up points surprisingly near the rim but showed off a solid jumper and pesty defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2441656' first='Jordan' last='Arriaga'] | G | 2025 | Taravella | @imjordanarriaga

Arriaga was a vocal and talented point guard who handled the rock for his squad this weekend at the PH Florida State Tournament. He helped Blaze Hoops 2025 come in and take the hardware trophy after talking down some tough competition. Arriaga had a solid fall season and is still making noise during the spring/summer periods.

[player_tooltip player_id='2444862' first='Samuel' last='Franco'] | G | Springstead |

Franco was a young Jalen Brunson this weekend as the natural lefty was a deadly three-point shooter and high IQ guard prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447018' first='Joseph' last='Johnson'] | G | 2027 | Fleming Island | @Josephjhnson_

Had to add this kid to the notable standout list for his consistent performance this weekend as he helped North Florida United take home the 16U championship trophy. Impressive guard play from Johnson who had a nice connection with rising 2027 F [player_tooltip player_id='2397027' first='Carson' last='Crawford'] as they had the play of the weekend with a high-flying alley-oop.

Best of the Rest:

[player_tooltip player_id='2125474' first='Damarri' last='Young-Grant'] | G | 2027 | San Jose Prep | @Marrigobrazy

Scott Simmons | G | 2026 | Wiregrass Ranch | @sscottsimmons9

BJ McKinney | G | 2024 | Lake Region | @BJ_mckinney2

Antwon Brown | G | 2027 | Fivay | @Antwon_Brown2

[player_tooltip player_id='2444831' first='Jeremiah' last='Brown']

[player_tooltip player_id='2444893' first='Sean' last='Brown']

Ayden Hewitt | G | 2025 | Jesuit | @ayden_hewitt30
