Ohio State Tournament – Shane’s Top 17U Forwards

When you look at him he seems like he would be a force as a forward but he plays the wing with guard-like skills. He handles the ball and is a heck of a passer. He is a physical player that goes for every rebound but moves very well. He has some sneaky quick hands as he gets a ton of tips and blocks. He has good versatility on the defensive end and showed he can be the big in any defensive coverage of the pick-n-roll. He showed to have a lot of tools on the offensive end but doesn't have a set game at that end. He just looks the part. Great strong build with broad shoulders. He is a great athlete who can and will dunk anything when he is close to the rim. He had a nice outback dunk that I don't think he even jumped his highest on. He is a physical player. He is a monster in the paint. Great rim protector, rebounder, and finisher. He is a shutdown defensive forward. He gets in your shorts and suffocates you all game. He is like a pest and is not afraid to be a little physical with you all game. He is willing to use his fouls but it's his way of making you work for everything. On the offensive end, he knows his role. What sticks out to him is his bounce. He uses it well for blocking shots and getting rebounds. He soars above everyone else and plays in his little area in the air. He is a really good defender and can guard multiple positions. He is a nice slasher on offense with good versatility on that end who can play any position. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
