Ohio State Tournament – Friday Tier 1 Performers

He is a pure hooper I've seen in May. He is a three-level scorer who has amazing footwork and seeks out contact. He is a very strong player and it shows through his play. He will go through your chest to finish the ball. He knows how to play the game the right way and has an amazing feel. He is extremely tough. He showed great patience in the paint and footwork. He has everything you want from a shooter. His shot is so pretty and the ball has perfect rotation. He has great footwork and can shoot it off the move or the dribble. He has an unlimited range. Hess is also an extremely confident player so his shot comes off his hand quickly. He is also a very nice passer. This kid stuck out to me because of his toughness and winning ability. He is a shorter player but that didn't stop him from playing some very physical defense and sticking his body in there for rebounds. He applied immense ball pressure. He played with a great amount of effort and intensity on that end. He is a shorter player but he has the shooting ability to overcome that. He can shoot it from anywhere over the half-court line. He has a quick shot. Loy caught some serious heat in the game I watched and he could not miss. He is very fundamentally sound.
