Zach Hart
Zach Hart
KultureAAU came down from New Jersey and put on an excellent performance. Junior forward Zach Hart was the big takeaway from this game. Zach has outstanding size and shoots the ball at a high level. He is highly skilled and had a terrific second half. He uses his size well and does a good job playing out of the post. Zach puts the ball on the floor well and can convert when he drives. Zach is an intriguing prospect and had a nice day.
Dean Hogans had an eye-opening performance today. He is a big guard who can score the ball in many different ways. He has a nice pull-up jump shot and does great at getting to the rim. Dean is well built and has next-level size at the guard position. He was one of the highest scorers on the day, finishing with 24 points.
Highlights
Javonte Pryor
Javonte Pryor
Javonte Pryor had a very nice game for MD Movement Regional. Although he is a small guard, he is quick, smart, has good hands, and competes. Javonte finished with 16 points.
Tone Williams
Tone Williams
In one of the later games of the day, Tone Williams left me with a huge impression. His effort and competitiveness won the game for the New York Jayhawks. His defense was paramount at this point, forcing turnovers to put his team up at the end.
Flavio Jean
Flavio Jean
Flavio Jean was one of the best guards I saw on the day. He understands the game at a high level and does everything you want from a PG. He is a great passer and overall floor general. He is a true PG and one of the smartest players I saw today.
I highlighted Anthony Brown Anthony Brown 6’1″ | PG Paul VI | 2026 State VA as a player coming into this weekend for Team Takeover. Anthony will have a huge increase in his role next year for one of the best programs in the country, PVI. Ant’s preparation and play this summer will be massive. He was great from three and did well as a passer. Ant has a great IQ and is a terrific PG. He is as effective as a scorer as he is as a passer.
Around the DMV, Qayden Samuels’s talents are already well known following his breakout season for Bishop McNamara. His shooting and athletic abilities were on display on day 1 for Team Takeover. Qayden’s mix of size and skill is high-level, and every time I watch him, he gets better and better.
