G365 Championship Day Standouts

PH NorCal was at Open Gym Premier in Oakland CA for the Memorial Day Championships on Monday. We watched 3 finals game 15U, 17U Bronze title where Lakeshow Reth 16u playing up defeated TKB Basketball 57-43. We have a few newcomers in here.    He has good all around guard play. He's an excellent ball handler with vision to see the whole court, he found cutters to the basket with no look passing, he made the long pass up court in transition. He does well driving and finding, he gets to the basket for different finishes including reverses. He'll drop a 3ptr.     He's a long wiry guard that looks for his shot. He's got the handles and good movements to create his shot from different spots on the court. He'll get to the paint or pull-up for short jumpers with a good stroke, He'll knock down corner 3's.     He showed some versatility. He's not a post player, but had good effort at 6'2 going after rebounds, tipping and keeping the ball live. He made the effort to get out on shooters. He handles and passes up in transition, makes cuts without the ball. Watch List.     He brings some rawness to the game offensively, but has a solid body, he serves as the post player, he goes up strong off two feet going up for dunks, and points around the rim. He'll go after blocks, get his rebounds. He hustles up court.     He has a good size body to get rebounds, help defend in the paint. He'll make cuts from the baseline to the rim. He's more of a prospect who roams the perimeter looking for catch 3's in the corners and spotting up behind the 3pt line.     Where one might lack in offensive production, Trotter makes up for it with his aggressive style of play doing other things to help his team. He gets his points working for offensive rebounds. He defends multiple players mostly post, hauls in rebounds, he passes and hustles up court.     He's an active combo guard with good ball handling and passing. He's solid on the dribble drive finishing with pull-ups and floaters in the paint. He's a ball mover, with decent passing, he'll makes the cuts to the basket. He gives effort on the defensive side of the ball.
