It is virtually impossible to tell what kind of agility of 15 year old 6-foot-7 boy is going to have when he is 21 years old. Conversely, an athletic 15 year old 5-foot-10 point guard is already showing much of what he can be. Often the guards have spent more time maturing and acclimating to their size.
While I watched all of these forwards during the high school season much could have changed. Though rare some bigs grow three inches in a six month period. Others gain coordination at a startling rate.
Ideally, I will get to evaluate the following players in person this weekend.
5/16/2024: Running with Team Thad EYCL 17u, Jarmon started for Douglass during Douglass’ last two, deep State Tournament runs. Elite rebounder. Active around the rim on both ends. The question is…’Can he play wing effectively? Is he an undersized big?’

was my pick for mid-season 4A Mr. Basketball. Brown is making a push for the #1 overall ranking with his AAU play. Though he largely played center with Franklin High, CB projects as a D1 wing forward with his athleticism and bounce. Playing with Brad Beal Elite 17u he is able to acclimate to this position.

5/16/2024: Georgia Stars 16u picked up Ethan Hillsman Ethan Hillsman 6’6″ | PF Brentwood Academy | 2026 State , the Brentwood Academy big. Hillsman was largely underutilized as a high school sophomore. Perhaps the Georgia Stars, a program known for playing multiple bigs at once will showcase him more.
