On April 6th and 7th I attended the Exclusive Runs and Made Hoops events at Inspire Courts and Legacy Park in AZ.

Here were the 2026 standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] Canyon International Academy (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

A dynamic point guard with speed and athleticism. His bounce is coming in but his speed with the ball is one of the best in the class. He darts down the lane and will finish with either hand. He has next level court vision and speed with the ball is next level. He is just as effective with his left then right. His burst with his left hand is different then most. His on-ball defense was suffocating and ripped many pockets.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211006' first='Jordan' last='Charles'] Canyon International Academy (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

A very fast and athletic point guard who rebounds well. He can pull-up off the dribble from the three point line and get to the basket. He is a very good on-ball defender and has real speed with a huge motor. He seems to have endless energy on both sides of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='994689' first='Noah' last='George'] Canyon International Academy (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

A bigger combo guard who can play on or off the ball. He can attack off the dribble to the basket and uses his body and strength. He is very shifty and changes speeds well and is a physical guard in the paint. He can also score it from the outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211004' first='Rokiem' last='Green'] Canyon International Academy (AZ Unity 16 EYBL)

A strong, athletic and long scoring guard. He can pull-up from mid-range off the dribble and is a very good rebounder. He can rattle in the catch three with a high release off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147243' first='Jaden' last='Rodgers'] Cienega (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise)

An athletic defensive guard with a nice frame and good build with plus length. He has advanced footwork for his position to score it inside. He will close out quickly to shooters and will make a play for a teammate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404559' first='Malaki' last='Cunningham-Hiadzi'] Tucson (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise) (Pictured)

A long lefty forward is hyper athletic. He takes long strides to get to the basket. He can face-up to the three point line and he made a few eye popping dunk attempts, He will score on put backs in the lane, rebound and defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404558' first='Ray' last='Porter'] Tucson (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise)

A high motored wing forward has the ability to play and defend multiple spots. He is a quick leaper and is very effective and efficient around the hoop. He can shoot it with mid-range jumpers and is good in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404557' first='Tyson' last='Dobbins'] Desert Christian (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise)

A good sized combo guard who is wired to score. He has a little shift in his handle and can see the court. His IQ is high to play the passing lanes and will close out to a shooter to block their shot. He cuts off the ball for a bucket and can shoot it from both levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='2147242' first='Isaac' last='McNair'] Premier Prep Tucson (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise)

A scoring guard plays really hard on the defensive end. He seems to understand to stay on the court, you need to defend. He will score with deep jumpers, dribble drive to the basket and is athletic to throw it down on the break.

[player_tooltip player_id='1893665' first='Cisco' last='Llamas'] Sahuaro (Tucson Spartans 16 Rise)

A dynamic undersized scoring point guard with speed, a tight handle and he is also a needle threader to throw the dime. He has an easy three point stroke with deep range and a polished floater. He is very low to the gound and it is hard to take it form him and uses his lateral quickness to rip some pockets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1768202' first='Marquice' last='Cole Jr'] Hamilton (Arizona Grassroots 16)

A quick and twitchy scoring combo guard. He gets to the free throw line in bunches with an impressive burst. He will finger roll it in or score on tough layups in traffic. He is a very quick second jumper to rebound and had a game high 26 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404560' first='Terrance' last='Gary Jr'] Mountain Pointe (Arizona Grassroots 16)

A decent sized power forward is an athletic and efficient scorer around the hoop. He catches tough balls in traffic and has hook shots and can even step out and shoot the three. He brings some length and will defend either forward position.

On April 6th and 7th I attended the Exclusive Runs and Made Hoops events at Inspire Courts and Legacy Park in AZ.
