To the Class A level we go! Here are some names to know as they enter their final season of high school hoops next fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447267' first='Beau' last='Bakken'] of Hills-Beaver Creek (6'5 Pf). Beau is one of my favorite players that I learned about. He's a huge running back that steam rolls people both ways (DE too), he is involved with track and field successfully, and he helped the Patriots improve to 19 wins last year as the team leading scoring and rebounder as a two time all conference player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447226' first='Jake' last='Finstad'] of New Ulm Cathedral (5'11 Pg). Finstad has been a very good shooter for the Greyhounds as a two year all league player. He stretches the defense to score his 14 plus points per game and gave [player_tooltip player_id='1284158' first='Jevan' last='Wilfahrt'] room to work in the paint. Finstad will step into the main scoring role next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447114' first='[player_tooltip player_id='2393392' first='Cole' last='']' last='Miller'] of Southland (6'4 Sf). Miller is one of the more interesting players I heard about this past winter. He's a high academic, multi-sport standout with good size at 6'4 that extends defenses with a very nice shooting touch on a good team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447210' first='Blake' last='Schueller'] of Cedar Mountain (6'5 Sf). Blake has shown a flare for the dramatic. It started as a sophomore when he was an all league player and had the game winning shot in the paint in the playoffs. He's continued to grow using his skills at his size to be an all around offensive player that boards, can use the dribble, and score from several areas. Heck of a golfer it sounds like too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447261' first='Brayden' last='Strum'] of Springfield (6'0 Pg). Strum is getting most of his athletic and recruiting attention in football and rightfully so, but this is a very good point guard that led Springfield to a nice season. He averaged 17 points, six boards, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals a game as a sophomore and then backed that up with 19 points, seven boards, five assists and three steals a game as a junior on an improved team. He's been a good player for the Southwest Stars who have been strong this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447129' first='Ben' last='Udstuen'] of Spring Grove (6'5 Pf). One of the reasons that Spring Grove was able to withstand the injury to [player_tooltip player_id='1284133' first='Elijah' last='Solum'] and continue to be a top ten level team was the emergence of Udstuen. He was the team's second leading scorer this year at nearly 15 points a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447234' first='Landon' last='Wendinger'] of Sleepy Eye (6'8 Big). Landon is one of the best shot blockers in the state. He swatted 5.5 blocks a game this year while scoring 16/17 a night and grabbing several double doubles. He's either broken his school shot blocking records or will break them soon and he continues to grow. Added another couple inches last season and is up over 200 pounds. A definite top 100 guy to keep an eye on.
