This past weekend was the 2nd annual Unsigned Senior Showcase presented by Xposure Runs. 26 players were invited. Many players had great showings, but these 5 guys were complete standouts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157205' first='Dekwon' last='Brown'] (Skyline Prep) 6'0

The always outspoken and energetic Brown was in rare form at the event. A lot of his plays came from fastbreak plays. Threading passes and pulling up for threes to the delight of the crowd. Dekwon is a highly coveted guard who had to leave the state because he wasn't cleared by IHSA. This was a great opportunity for him to end his senior campaign in Chicago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978577' first='CJ' last='Worsham'] (Christ The King) 6'6

The All-stater was his normal self at the showcase. An inside force around the rim who flashed some guard-like skills on the perimeter. CJ is special because he has good size and a skillset, but he also possesses grit that most of today's players don't have. Worsham is an excellent rebounder who snatches boards but is also capable of pushing the ball up the court. Already holds several offers I hope to hear of a commitment soon from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1750596' first='RJ' last='McKinnie'] (Simeon) 6'1

McKinnie started hot making several threes early on in the runs. He seems to always have big performances at Xposure Runs events. RJ is the epitome of what you call a Chicago guard. Rugged and tough he will guard you as soon as you walk out of the locker room. He shows up anytime he steps on the court. RJ has improved his mid-range shot and his decision-making in the half-court. With a prep or JUCO year RJ can have multiple offers by next season's end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1978585' first='DJ' last='Bolden'] (Westinghouse) 6'2

Bolden had a very good senior campaign for the Warriors. And at the showcase he displayed all of his talents. Bolden is an athletic guard who can score from all three levels. He shot the ball well from the corners and also mixed in some strong drives to the rim. DJ is also a tough defender as he had a couple of steals and blocks during the runs. An all-area player Bolden has several schools recruiting him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598740' first='Darshan' last='Thomas'] (Marist) 6'6

Thomas was very active on both sides of the ball finishing several dunks and oops on the offensive side while doing a great job on defense blocking shots and out-hustling others for rebounds. Darshan is a matchup issue for guys because he can shoot and score around the basket in many ways. At the showcase Thomas displayed a motor and good skillset that coaches wanted to see in a player with his size. As an all-city selected member I was surprised to see Thomas not committed yet but after his showing I'm sure he will be getting offers soon.
