The first week of April is flying by, meaning the spring AAU season is about to start up. The frontcourt has the opportunity to make their presence known this month, especially in the 2025 class. Here are the under the radar 2025 power forwards who could have big Aprils.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919189' first='Cameron' last='James'], 6'5 Ewing

James had a solid junior season and is poised to have a big April after ending his season with 22 points. The 6'5 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and can finish through contact. James has a nice release on his free throws and sets strong screens in the halfcourt. He rips down rebounds at both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to influence shots around the basket. James is a physical forward prospect whose ability to impact the game on the defensive end will help him have a big April.

[player_tooltip player_id='2348974' first='Manny' last='Doku'], 6'5 Holy Cross Prep

Doku was a force for the Crusaders all season long as he poured in over 500 points for them in 2023-24. The 6'5 forward has a nice touch around the basket and is capable of finishing through contact. Doku has an underrated handle as he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim off the dribble. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to make plays on the defensive end. Doku racked up 12 double-doubles this season and is looking to carry that form over into the AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341240' first='Aiden' last='Sosinov'], 6'5 Manalapan

Sosinov had a big junior campaign for the Braves as he led the team in both points and rebounds. The 6'5 forward is comfortable on the perimeter as he can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc, but also get to the rim off the dribble. Sosinov is unafraid of drawing contact in the paint and rarely forces jumpers in the halfcourt. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated shot-blocker. Sosinov had seven 20-10 games this season and should build on that this April.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107781' first='Nas' last='Middleton'], 6'5 Teaneck

Middleton has the potential to break out this April with his ability to make plays in the paint. The 6'5 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and is unafraid of drawing contact. Middleton has a good touch around the basket and is an underrated passer out of the post. He is tough to keep off the offensive glass and holds his ground on the defensive end. Middleton is a hard-working forward prospect who plays with a motor that doesn't stop on either end of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2368285' first='Aidan' last='Hamlin-Woolfolk'], 6'5 Freehold Boro

Hamlin-Woolfolk ended his season hot and is looking to carry that form over into the spring. The 6'5 lefty shoots the ball with confidence from the perimeter and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. Hamlin-Woolfolk can also put the ball on the floor and finishes nicely around the basket. He is an underrated rebounder and uses his athleticism to get deflections and blocks on the defensive end. Hamlin-Woolfolk averaged 19.5 points per game in the state tournament and is looking to bring that over into April.
