The teams in the beautiful Shakopee High facility all set out to attain bragging rights for the year. Each game had highlight worthy plays, and players looking to prove their team was worthy of a Championship Title. Although there can only be one champion, there was no shortage of intensity throughout the entire weekend in each division. This huge event had all of the best talent in the state of Minnesota. Below, I highlighted the “Day 3 Standouts” that I was able to watch at the “Twin Cities Takedown”.

Evan Arft | The Valley

Arft had a huge impact as a post playmaker for The Valley. He has a good motor and found himself open on back door cuts and flashes to the dunker spot. He showed up big on the offensive glass and created second chance points for himself and others.

[player_tooltip player_id='2418811' first='Zeb' last='Robinson'] | Wisconsin City Hoops

Robinson was a jack of all trades for Wisconsin City Hoops. A standout athlete that can guard multiple positions. He was very proactive guarding in the post as well as on the perimeter. In transition he made impressive outlet passes and hit teammates in stride and created great pace for his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405197' first='Tyler' last='Kowal'] | WI 26ers

Kowal's high IQ was on display as he set the floor for [program_tooltip program_id='2110787' first='Wisconsin' last='26ers']. He was proactive on both sides of the ball seeing plays before they took place. He could not be left open on the perimeter, as he was lights out shooting the ball off of the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2417238' first='Owen' last='Bauer'] | South Metro

Bauer was productive in the paint on both ends of the floor for South Metro. He proved to have great hands and soft touch when scoring the post. His mobility was quite impressive for his size. He stood out on the defensive boards and extended plays on the offensive ends as well.
