During his three full years at Roosevelt, [player_tooltip player_id='1052572' first='Terrence' last='Hill Jr'] certainly proved himself as a scorer. But the skilled 6-foot-2 guard can certainly pass as well, and showed off his ability in that area at the Northwest Shootout. As Oregon made their big run in the second half, it was Hill that was dishing out the dimes to open teammates for scores, all leading to a win for the squad for the first time since 2018.

"It's a great feeling just representing for the Northwest," Hill said. "I feel like Oregon always gets doubted when it comes to the Northwest, so just getting this win under the belt is a great feeling, for sure."

It's been a busy off-season so far for Hill. In addition to getting selected for and practicing for the Northwest Shootout, he recently also made an overseas trip to the Philippines with a team sponsored by Fil-Am Nation Select, an organization that serves as a bridge for U.S. players with Filipino heritage to compete in a tournament in the Philippines. Hill went on the trip with Jefferson senior [player_tooltip player_id='1197478' first='TJ' last='Latu'] and helped lead his team to championship.

"It was a fun experience - it was different out there, definitely a culture shock," Hill said. "Just going out there, seeing those guys, how aggressive they are, their different mentality from the U.S. - it was a great experience. I got to go with TJ, so we definitely had a great time. It's overpopulated and it's hot - it's really hot - but I feel like the beach is a good place for vacation, for sure."

Back home, Hill also saw some changes as the college coach he originally signed with at Utah State, Danny Sprinkle, made a move and took the head coaching job at Washington. As a result, Hill re-opened his commitment to Utah State and while he is still considering the Aggies, he's also looking at other possibilities.

"We're kind of just evaluating everything because everything is so new," Hill said. "I know I don't have a lot of time, but I have time to evaluate, just see where everybody's going to land because of the transfer portal and coaches all leaving and stuff. So I'm definitely going to take my time and make the best decision."

As Hill goes through the recruiting process again, he can certainly look back on his senior season with a lot of pride. He came back home to Roosevelt and was unquestionably part of something special that will be remembered for a very long time.

"Everything was just great and I've just been soaking everything in," Hill said. "Even though we didn't win the title which was our main goal, I feel like we had great moments throughout the whole season, especially myself just becoming a better man, becoming a better leader, just coming back with that target on my back for my senior year. I just kind of want to soak everything in, especially this (the win at the Northwest Shootout). I feel like I had a great career and just wanted to end it off the right way."
