Colton Hawkins Colton Hawkins 6'2" | PG Carterville | 2026 State IL (Carterville – 2026)
Hawkins is an emerging combo guard from Carterville at 6’3” with good size and strength at the position. Plus shot maker that has a good feel for the game. Brings scoring off the bounce finishing with up and unders and converting dump offs around the hoop. Plus shooter from the perimeter as well and is a solid distributor.
Ty Laur Ty Laur 6'6" | C Pinckneyville | 2026 State IL (Pinckneyville – 2026)
Laur probably has the highest ceiling of any prospect on this list. The 6’6” big man has a frame that he should continue to grow. His dad is a 7-footer and he has at least 3 or 4 more inches to go from his body type. What we like most about him is his overall skill set. He has great footwork and touch around the hoop. Up and unders, hook shots, and skilled moves on the block. Passes very well for a big man as well. Can stretch with his shooting to beyond the arc hitting several threes off the catch on the night. Solid area rebounder that has a good feel for where the ball is coming off the rim and secures the board.
Devin Meier Devin Meier 6'0" | SG Centralia | 2026 IL (Centralia – 2026)
Meier opened eyes with his shot making at the event. I didn’t really remember him much from the Orphans last year, but wow can this kid really shoot the ball! He poured in mid-range jumpers and threes all game long. Literally hardly missed all night impressing myself and the college coaches that were in attendance. The 6’0” guard right now projects as a small college shooting specialist playing off the ball. If he can add some more on the ball and off the bounce his stock could elevate, but his shooting was phenomenal.
Luke Smith Luke Smith 6'1" | PG Belleville Althoff | 2026 State IL (Belleville Althoff – 2026)
Smith is a combo guard from Althoff that is primed for a breakout junior campaign. Plus shot maker from three with a free and easy shot. Plays the game with a calmness to him making great reads as a passer. Scored at the rim on reverse layups and soft touch finishes at the cup.
