The Prep Hoops Indiana team was out in full force this weekend were able to see hundreds of talented prospects in the gym multiple times. Here is part two of my player evaluations from The Stage.
Gray is a long guard for INB 2026 that has some true combo guard ability. Super quick for his length and can make athletic plays on or off the ball. Really solid passer that can also attack the lane, as well. Probably at his best shooting the three ball but lot of upside as a combo guard that can do a little bit of everything.
Highlights
The younger brother of Luke, Levi is up-and-coming wing in the 2027 class playing for EG10 2027. Wide frame with the potential to be a smooth catch-and-shoot wing that can also be a willing defender. When he was aggressive, that was when he was at his best. Lot of upside.
Harrison has always been one of the better under-the-radar guard in the Indiana class of 2025 in my opinion. Got to watch him again for Kyle Guy Elite ’25 Williams and was once again impressed with his motor, athletic ability, and willingness to defend. He also looks to be expanding his game a little more playing on the ball as well.
This was my first time seeing Sloss since he made his return to the Indiana Ambition 2025 team and was once again impressed with the way he played. He has a little bit of a unique game as he is a little undersized in the post while not being exactly a true wing either. Thought he fought well in the post and would use his slender frame and athletic ability to score in there. Also thought he was real solid in transition, as well. Interesting player with an interesting type of game.
Dayton Stephans – Pike – EG10 2026 – 6’5 – G: Stephans is a long wing that is smooth and versatile on both ends of the floor. Like how long he is as a wing and his ability to shoot a smooth 15ft pull-up jumper. Outside shot is a little flat right now so will need to continue to get better in that area. He is also a very active rebounder.
