Continue ReadingOn Wednesday, April 3rd we released our updated Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. This is always a tough, time-consuming process as we at Prep Hoops Indiana pride ourselves on putting out the most thorough, and accurate, prospect rankings in the country. Along with the updated rankings we like to break things down a little deeper with stock-risers, new names, positional rankings, regional rankings, and much more. This gives us a chance to talk about as many of the prospects on an individual level as possible. Ultimately, that is what makes us unique at Prep Hoops. We don’t just put out rankings a few times a year because it drives traffic and subscribers. We aim to still provide valuable content along with the much-anticipated update. Here are six more prospects who moved the most in this Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings update.
From a statistical production standpoint, this Northview High School sophomore put up big numbers averaging 17.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game which were all team-highs. The 6’0″ guard is a relentless driver that has a lot of success off of the dribble.
The Taylor Titans feature a pair of very talented sophomores led by this 6’4″ forward who is a beast on the boards. Harris plays with an excellent motor and is very strong for his age. That tenacity around the basket led to him nearly averaging a double-double this season with 11.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
Malloy burst onto the scene this season as an excellent shooting threat for Munster High School. He made 57 of 147 attempts which comes out to 38.8% while averaging 10.3 points per game. There is a lot to like about his physical frame at 6’2″ and overall upside as a perimeter scorer. Look for him to have a breakout summer and possibly continue to move up from his new ranking at #64.
Highlights
Gary 21st Century seems to always reload with talent and Mosley was one of a group of younger prospects that put up big numbers this season for the Cougars. The 5’8″ guard was second on the team averaging 14.7 points per game while shooting 49-130 (37.7%) from three-point range. He improved from the Watch List to #77 in our updated Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings.
There aren’t many sophomores with more impressive physical tools than Oliver down at Linton-Stockton High School. He was a key piece of their team that made it to the state finals as a freshmen, then he stepped into a primary scoring role this year and led them to 18 wins. Oliver averaged 18.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
This sophomore star had an excellent season for veteran head coach Mark James as they went 16-7. Sego averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game for the Tigers and shot 43-96 (44.8%) from three-point range. With his breakout season, Sego jumped from previously being on the Watch List to #63 in the Class of 2026.
