Continue ReadingOn Wednesday, April 3rd we released our updated Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings. This is always a tough, time-consuming process as we at Prep Hoops Indiana pride ourselves on putting out the most thorough, and accurate, prospect rankings in the country. Along with the updated rankings we like to break things down a little deeper with stock-risers, new names, positional rankings, regional rankings, and much more. This gives us a chance to talk about as many of the prospects on an individual level as possible. Ultimately, that is what makes us unique at Prep Hoops. We don’t just put out rankings a few times a year because it drives traffic and subscribers. We aim to still provide valuable content along with the much-anticipated update. Here are six prospects who moved the most in this Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings update.
Bell had an excellent sophomore season while helping lead Wapahani to the state championship game in Class 2A. He will seamlessly step into a primary scoring role for the Raiders next season. The left-handed guard was dominant in their Regional win over Tipton and averaged 12.6 points per game on the season. He is now up to #27 in the Class of 2026, a huge jump from #73 previously.
Hayes put up some monster numbers this season while leading Gary 21st Century to a 20-7 season which included a Sectional championship. The dynamic, left-handed guard averaged 19.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for the Cougars. He jumped significantly in our prospect rankings from #52 to #18 in the Class of 2026.
This 6’3″ pure scorer is a very intriguing prospect with his combination of length on the wing and how he shoots the basketball. Neill averaged 23.1 points per game and made 76 three-point shots on the season. He saw his ranking improve from #58 to #26 in this update.
When looking at players who could really breakout over the summer months and into their junior season, Pokorney is high on that list. The 6’3″ prospect out of Chesterton High School has good size on the perimeter and a very well-rounded offensive game. He is one to watch this summer with Indiana Game . Pokorney jumped nearly 20 spots from #60 to #41 in our updated rankings.
This prospect put up big numbers as a freshman to burst onto the radar, but became an even more complete player as a sophomore leading Parke Heritage to a 24-6 record as they came one game away from making the state finals. Schelsky has now won back-to-back Regional titles and that level of winning is valuable in a prospect. He averaged 15.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game this season and broke into the Top 20 now being ranked #19 up from #31 previously.
You have to respect the contributions to winning that this Noblesville guard made throughout the season for a team that was top five in Class 4A. Walker’s statistics may not stand out as much as some others, but what he did as a sophomore for one of the best teams in Indiana was impressive. The athletic 6’1″ guard averaged 6.6 points per game and jumped from #56 to #43 in our updated rankings.
