Throughout the day I saw several interesting prospects play their hearts out and leave it all on the hardwood. While this was happening I was taking some quick notes about what I was seeing, live-in-action. Below I highlight seven individuals and briefly describe what I saw out on the floor in their specific contests.
Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!
#4 – Max McMullen – 2029 – X – Point Guard – Team Herro 2029 Bruggink
“Almost an impossible guard for anyone trying to match up with him defensively. He is fast, has a nasty handle, great body movement, & he is a willing passer once he beats his initial defender. This is one of those prospects that floats w/ the ball, while displaying a ton of touch near the rim. Overall, very impressive showing on Championship Sunday.”
#2 – Stan Strong Jr Stan Strong Jr 5'3" | PG Beasley | 2030 IL – 2030 – 5’3 – Point Guard – Ayo Dos Elite 2029
“PG that stays in control of his teams offense. Has displayed the ability to score in a number of ways but he is at his best while creating for others. Can shoot it from deep when left alone but he doesn’t try to settle. Someone that is always willing to make the extra pass for someone else.”
#2 – Luca Migalski Luca Migalski 5'3" Walter Sundling Jr High | 2030 IL – 2030 – 5’3 – Shooting Guard – Kessel Heat Kessel Heat 4'8" | PG IL 2029
“A very fast Guard, that has a lightning quick release from beyond the three point line. Can either shoot off the catch or dribble, while making good decisions a majority of the time. Not to mention, dude’s got confidence. You can tell by the headband, leg sleeve, and demeanor every time he lets a shot go.”
#12 – Cole Jansons Cole Jansons 6'7" | C IL – 2028 – 6’6 – Forward/Center – M14 Hoops 2028 Rising Gold
“He already stands at 6’6 and he moves really well for that size as an 8th grader. Within his teams offense he has shown the ability to dominate down low or he can step out to the perimeter to set a screen and roll to the rim for an easy finish when he can receive the ball. Defensively, he is just as good. He can move around and protect the paint or he can jump out to the three point line to make a stand.”
#33 – Kinston Kneuppel – 2028 – X – Forward/Combo Guard – Ray Allen 2028 Select Bucks
“An impressive Forward/Combo Guard, that has great movement for his size. Displays great touch on the ball, coordinated footwork, smart play-style, and defensive prowess. Someone that can impact a game on both sides of the floor at a high rate, no matter where he is placed. A double-double machine by all means necessary. Someone that has a bright future on the hardwood by the looks of it in his contests over the past two days.”
#11 – Drew Schnurman Drew Schnurman 5'11" Shepard Middle School | 2029 IL – 2029 – 5’11 – Point Guard – NS Ballerz 2029
“An intriguing Guard standing at 5’11. Schnurman is in charge of bringing up the ball and running his teams offense a majority of the time. He is a controlled passer with good vision and he can go get a bucket if need be. On a team and within a program that has 4-5 noteworthy prospects at this age level, Schnurman could turn out to be the most impressive over time.”
