Tee Sylling Tee Sylling 6'2" | SF Maple Valley | 2025 State ND |6’2 SF| Maple River
He was an All-District player while averaging 15.8 ppg and 9.9 rpg. Tee is a quality athlete, it looks like he is getting some serious attention from college football coaches. On the hardwood, I like the looks of his jump shot, his instincts when rebounding, his aggressiveness, and his scoring on the block. If he keeps improving, Sylling could be one of the top ballers in Class B next season.
Hunter Wolff Hunter Wolff 5'10" | CG Wilton-Wing | 2025 State ND |5’10 G| Wilton-Wing
Wolff averaged 13 points a game, hit 68 three-pointers this year, drilled 8 trips in one game, and shot 41% from the three-point line. Hunter handles the ball and passes the rock well. He is crafty with the basketball. He was probably the best defender for the Miners, he usually guarded the best player on the opposing team. Hunter is extremely coachable and he was selected as an All-District & All-Region player. Look for Wolff to improve his attacking of the hoop and his mid-range jumper this offseason.
Ben Gudajtes Ben Gudajtes 6'1" | SG Midway/Minto | 2025 State ND |6’1 G| Midway-Minto
He was an All-District player this season. Ben is a southpaw shooter who can put up serious points. He scores in traffic, Ben can catch, gather, and score in a hurry. He looks to have good vision and I am impressed with his passing. Ben is unselfish, sees the floor well, and he makes passes with his right hand. Gudajtes plays hard and gives full effort. The Mustangs do not have much size, so Ben is often matched up with a bigger player from the opposing team. Gudajtes and the Mustangs will be tough next season!
JB Walters JB Walters 6'4" | PF Grand Forks Red River | 2025 State ND |6’4 PF| Grand Forks Red River
JB improved with every game and practice this year. He started a handful of varsity contests, was always physical, and was a rim protector inside. Walters has the ability to get a stop defensively and lead the break at the other end. JB can match up physically with anyone in the state, he is unmovable in the paint. JB has surprisingly agile feet for a BIG man his size. He is looking like a big-time OL football prospect/recruit.
Ali Shahid Ali Shahid 6'2" | CG Fargo South | 2025 State ND |6’2 G| Fargo South
He probably improved the most out of any player in the Bruin program. From his sophomore year to his junior year the movement he made was incredible! Shahid really took the next step to being a varsity player. He was the go-to guy at the JV level and probably averaged 10-15 minutes each varsity game. Ali is an athletic lefty who can get to the hoop off the bounce. Along with having a pretty decent shot that allows him to make 3’s. He always goes 100% and has a team-first mentality. Shahid plays with a awesome attitude and he is a great kid on and off the court!
Trey Husar Trey Husar 6'4" | SF Northern Cass | 2025 State ND |6’4 SF| Northern Cass
He helped the Jaguars win 15 games this season and Husar was selected as an All-Region 1 player. Trey had a breakout season while averaging 14.5 ppg and 4 rpg. Husar was really a nice surprise for Northern Cass. He is a phenomenal athlete, who wants to be coached and he put in a ton of time in the weight room this past offseason. Trey can guard anyone from positions 1-5. He really improved his ability to get to the rim, finish at different angles, and score through contact.
Bradon Wallace Bradon Wallace 6'3" | SG Wilton-Wing | 2025 State ND |6’3 G/F| Wilton-Wing
Wallace averaged nearly 18 points a game for the Miners and hit 61 threes while shooting 43% from the three-point line. It is easy to say that Bradon is a sniper! He really developed his mid-range jump shot this year. His passing and dribbling skills are also above average. Wallace needs to improve his strength in the weight room and get to the rim a bit more. Overall, Bradon is a nice player who is very easy to coach, he was named as an All-District player this season.
Braden Bailey Braden Bailey 5'7" | PG Westhope/Newburg | 2025 State ND |5’7 PG| Westhope/Newburg
He and the Sioux won 26 games this season and the Class B State Championship! Bailey proved that he is a gamer & clutch performer, he was named the State Tournament MVP! Bailey is a smartplug on the court and he plays with heart. He is a pesky on-ball defender and he shot it well in the post-season. Braden seems to always be in “attack mode”. I like how he pushes the tempo and keeps the defense on their heels. It was a magical season from Braden and Westhope/Newburg.
Nolan Weidner Nolan Weidner 6'2" | SG Dickinson | 2025 State ND |6’2 G| Dickinson
Nolan had a very successful season. He is a talented player on both sides of the court. His biggest strength is the fact he doesn’t have a weakness. He is a great shooter who can pass very well. He can also handle the ball when he needs to. He is a good on-ball and off-ball defender. Weidner continues to improve on being more aggressive, working very hard to get stronger & bigger. This could make him one of the better players in the WDA next season. Nolan averaged 8.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.8 apg, shot 55.5 FG%, 40.5 3FG%, and knocked down 45 triples this season.
Victor Busanga Victor Busanga 5'11" | CG Fargo North | 2025 State ND |5’11 G| Fargo North
Victor had a great JV season for the Spartans. He was the floor general and was much more trusting of his teammates this year. Victor showed great vision on the floor, was excellent in ball-screen actions, and his defense really improved. Busanga shot it extremely well from the three-point line this season and is a major threat when he goes downhill to score. Vic and Matthew Sem Matthew Sem 6'1" | SG Fargo North | 2025 State ND will take on the primary ball-handling duties next year for the Spartans.
