The OTD guard was a smooth finisher who was able to slide past defenders on a constant basis and get to the hoop. Showed a great feel for getting out of his moves and getting downhill, and had that last little burst by the hoop to get by defenders and up to the rim quickly. Was able to use various finishes inside and played with good control while maintaining a high pace with the ball.
The P.A.C.E guard was one of the more efficient players with his touches, showing an ability to score from all ranges while maximizing his dribbles and doing a great job making moves with purpose. Picked his spots well, knocking down 3s when given space, and getting to the rim when lanes were there to drive. Had a good initial burst attacking from the perimeter and looked very calm with his approach.
A crafty guard for P.A.C.E Black, was able to create lots of action by splitting defenders, forcing the help to step up while keeping his eyes up and scanning. Had more than a few nice finishes from either side of the hoop and mixed up quick shots with good fakes at the rim. Also showed good vision to find teammates on the go as well as surveying the floor from the perimeter and was able to knock in some outside shots to keep the defense honest.
Highlights
A quick little guard for OTD who brought massive energy to the floor. Made some tough finishes inside, played active perimeter defense that led to some steals, and was reactive to the ball. Was able to follow some shots on the offensive end and sneak in to clean up some misses. His speed and energy were factors across the board.
A quick lefty guard for P.A.C.E Black who was able to push the ball in transition, get to the hoop off the dribble in the half court, and had quick hands to rack up some tips and pokes. Was really good at shifting the ball around reaching defenders on his way to the hoop and showed some good athleticism at the rim to rise up and challenge defenders.
