A microwave scorer from the lead guard spot. Shepard has the burst to get down hill and the lift to finish strong, even getting up for an impressive transition slam. Along with his ability to pressure the rim, he’s a capable shooter from distance, connecting on multiple three pointers. Especially with his moves to create seperation for off the dribble threes. His display of a full offensive arsenal on Sunday afternoon was impressive.
Highlights
A competitive lead guard with good speed, Criswell was a handful to keep out of the paint. Especially as he showed the ability to finish with both hands around the rim. Even taking contact very well for a younger, lead guard. His competitiveness shows on the defensive end, especially with the way he causes steals. Where along with pushing it himself, he’s a more than willing passer to set up his teammates with good passes in transition.

Green did his damage in a variety of ways for Takeover in a Saturday morning contest. He’s a good ball handler, who can navigate traffic on transition pushes. And has a floater and other finishing moves in the paint. Along with the scoring punch, he played tough on the defensive end, while also sprinkling in good feeds to teammates. With a solid scoring and defensive base following a good season at Putnam City West, watching Green continue to refine his playmaking and creation skills will be big for this spring and summer.
A shifty and speedy lead guard, Martinez often drove with the purpose of setting up his teammates. He can really change direction quickly, which gave him the ability to knife through the defense and draw a crowd. In that traffic, he generally made great kick outs and finds to teammates when he drew those crowds. When he did choose to score himself, Martinez gets good lift to finish high on layup attempts, which is more proof of his good athleticism when it comes to quickness and burst.

With the size to play on or off the ball, Fulcher first caught the eye on Saturday with the way he got after it on the defensive end. From attacking and pressuring ball handler to denying off the ball, his impact was obvious. He also looked smooth stepping into a pull up three pointer and good movement when attacking downhill.
Brown was non stop energy on both ends of the floor during an Oklahoma Servants victory on Saturday. He had a game changing scoring spurt in the second half, where he knocked down a couple catch and shoot threes. Then kept the pedal to the metal, thriving in the wide open nature of AAU basketball as a lead guard who set up his teammates or found spots for himself. Along with his offensive production, he was scrappy as an on the ball defender.
