Last year it was the newly formed Utah Gold team that made waves and now we are seeing something similar from Utah Valley Prime . Let’s take a look at who was on their game at the Vegas Elite Invitational.
When you are looking for player at the next level you want players that will put in that work regardless of the results night in and night out. That is what you are getting from Hunter Jackson Hunter Jackson 6’3″ | PG Woods Cross | 2025 State UT early in the grassroots season. He is playing like the seasoned vet that he is out there doing a lot of things as a lead guard should do. He is reading the floor very well and he is using that change of speed and with his ability to handle pressure and get space all while keeping his vision up. He is getting to the rim and he is also using his soft touch out in the perimeter to get great looks to fall. He is going to be a player to watch for sure.
Highlights
A player with a lot of opportunity to rise and he played that way while in Las Vegas. He has a quick trigger and he is a player that will walk into shots but you can also run some sets for him and he will light things up. He is a player we will be keeping an eye on as he is proving to be a stock riser.

Longhurst is playing for Salt City Hustle and he looks great as a wing that can handle the ball a bit but also a player that can finish strong at the rim. He is good in space and you can rely on him breakingthe defense down one on one when he needs to. Good young player.
Highlights
Olsen really lit things up this past high school season and he is taking that game to the grassroots level now. He was great in Vegas and he was doing his thing, some shooting, some driving and a lot of ball movement. He is going to really rise with this Utah Valley Prime team.
Highlights
Noah was out there hunting three-point shots. It’s crazy how much space he can get while many know the kid can shoot. Excited to see him continue to expand his game. Liked the way he looked comfortable bringing the ball up.
Highlights
Atwater was solid in Vegas and there were a few games were he stood out, especially from deep. When his long ball is falling he is just tuff. His ball handling has improved and his big shot making has also improved. Coleman could be a key piece for Gold to make another impressive run with this 2025 group.
