Kerrick Medose, 6’1 G – St. Johnsbury Academy / Green Mountain Select Varsity Black Class of 2025
A deliberate type guard, Medose plays at his pace. Rarely sped up, Kerrick’s connective playmaking keeps the ball popping and everyone involved whether he’s initiating the O or making quick decisions on the wing. He’s a proven shooter from 3 and can get into the 2nd layer for little finishes, capable of breaking out for big scoring games. Defensively measured on-ball and sly off of it, Medose brings sound instincts and aware team defense.
Ayodele Lowe, 6’0 G – Hartford Union H.S. Class of 2025
There’s nothing like playing with a PG who’ll organize the O seamlessly, put the ball in your shooting pocket, and put pressure on the rim. He’s your quintessential PG that takes care of the rock, passes on time and on target, and balances the orchestration with dynamic finishing at the cup and a jumper off the catch. Defensively, he’s so reliable. It’s tough ball pressure with agile footwork, making every decision bothersome while keeping his guy in front. A dependable presence at the 1.
Atif Milak, 6’7 F – Montpelier H.S. / Green Mountain Select Varsity Black Class of 2025
The big fella holds it down inside. Milak is your prototypical big man who protects the rim both in the post and vs drivers, rebounds at a high clip, and runs the floor. His frame is sleek yet strong, able to both muscle and finesse. Offensively, he feasts on dump passes from slashers, showcasing heady movement around the dunker spot to create angles. Atif has flashed his post scoring package a bit, kicks it when defenses collapse, and buries FTs. Reliable guy who takes care of everything you want a forward to.
Paul Comba, 5’11 G – South Burlington H.S. / Blueprint Basketball 10th Class of 2025 (correction: Paul is Class of 2026 – 4/15)
Paul has that microwave ability. Comba’s versatile scoring attack combines athletic drives with a crispy southpaw jumper that he can get off anytime. He balances his shots well, able to break the defender down with the handle or attack closeouts to finish within the 2nd layer, or he can cook with the 3-ball using his off-ball movement and step-back. Comba has the tools to be disruptive defensively too, able to sneak into passing lanes and create transition O. I haven’t seen him initiate a lot of offense, but he has the skillset to do so.
Jerrick Jacobs, 5’10 G – Richford H.S. / Green Mountain Select Varsity Green Class of 2025
With his foot quickness and agile bursts of speed, Jacobs plays with a high gear. His athleticism enables blurring slashes with dynamic finishes, yet he’s also shown the step-back jumper when the defense tries to drop back. The initiator and playmaker passes well out of his slashes, intuiting where spot-up shooters and roaming bigs are. He brings that speed and athleticism to the defensive side too, able to pressure the ball, challenge everything, and disrupt away from the rock. Lots of energy and activity with Jerrick.
Ethan Wagner, 6’5 W/F – Essex H.S. / Rise to the Top Varsity Class of 2025
With Wagner it’s the modern 3/4 man. Ethan has the size + length to bother inside post presences, challenge shots at the rim, switch onto the perimeter, and snatch boards. Plus, he can push the rock after cleaning glass and jumpstart the break. Ethan has flashed the 3 and the mid-range off the catch along with sound perimeter passing. And if he can drive into the paint and rise up into his finish in two dribbles or less, I like his chances. A versatile guy with his size and developing skillset.
