We now have over 200 names in the database of what is shaping up to be a very talented, deep class. All rankings are difficult, and inherently subjective, but that can be especially true with the younger classes. That is why we cut off our initial ranking at just 15. Going much beyond that would have led to too much of a guessing game. However, we still want to give some additional shine to prospects that deserve recognition on the Watch List. Here are eight prospects currently on the Watch List that we will have our eye on this spring and summer.
This 5’8″ freshman guard stepped in right away and was the leading scoring at Morristown High School. Crim averaged 10.8 points and 3.0 assists per game for the Yellow Jackets while making 53 three-point shots on the season. He was named First Team All-Mid Hoosier Conference for his efforts.
There are always plenty of talented prospects roaming the halls at Carmel High School, but few end up cracking the lineup at the varsity level as freshmen. Dickerson, a talented 6’4″ wing, did just that getting some valuable varsity experience this season for the Greyhounds. The two-sport athlete (football and basketball) is definitely one to keep an eye on.
Galloway put up big numbers as a freshman for a young, talented Taylor High School team. The 6’1″ point guard averaged 7.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He is excellent off of the dribble and very difficult for opposing defenses to keep out of the paint. The talented lefty will play with Team First City 2027 this spring and summer.

Hammond is one of the more physically impressive Class of 2027 prospects in the state of Indiana with a strong, athletic build at 6’3″. He missed the high school season due to injury, but was set to get some time on the varsity squad at Terre Haute North. Now, he will look for a breakout spring and summer with Indiana Elite on 3SSB Circuit and is definitely one of the top players in the class.
A talented point guard from Silver Creek High School, Hunter put up big numbers this past weekend for Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2027 at IndyBall. The 6’1″ playmaker was a key contributor as a freshman for the Dragons averaging 6.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and a team-leading 5.7 assists per game. He is without a doubt one of the best passers in the class.
King was a primary contributor on a South Bend St. Joseph team that made it to the Class 3A State Finals this season. The athletic 6’2″ guard averaged 8.4 points per game for the Huskies and shot 35.9% from three-point range. He is a high-upside prospect that will be worth following closely this spring and summer.
Fresh off of an excellent freshman season that saw him average 15.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game for South Bend Washington, Parker has already started to make waves this spring playing with Indiana Game who will compete on the UA Rise circuit. The dynamic 5’9″ guard did his scoring efficiently as well shooting 50.8% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range.
