Valdes might be one of the best sleeper PG’s in the class. You can classify him as a true PG that can get in the paint and create for others. He does well in the pick n’ roll and he knows how to change gears and keep defenders off balance. He is s downhill PG that has vision and the one thing that really stands out is that he is not over dribbling out there on the floor. He sees the floor and gets the ball to where it needs to be.
Cogswell will be in the rotation on a regular basis with so many little guards graduating at Lone Peak and he is a player that can get you a bucket inside but also shoot from the perimeter. He has athleticism and could easily be one of the best sleepers in the class.
Highlights
Wilson is a big time off the radar player out in Park City. He has size and skills. He is playing volleyball which will help his footwork and leaping ability. The kid could have a monster year this spring and summer.
I could easily see Hadfield finding a spot at an NWAC school because he can defend multiple positions and he knows and has experience defending bigger players. He has skills and a good footwork package as he has to get crafty in the post. Hadfield is very capable.
Highlights
Park had a solid junior year and you can see how he can impact the game. He has quickness but he can also step outside and shoot the ball. He is not afraid of contact and he can bounce off of defenders. Look for him to have a big year and help Cottonwood stay consistent next year.
