But as soon as they got on the floor at their respective campuses, they changed their teams fortunes. The 2024 class has guys who are in the very same position. So here are SIX prospects who can make an instant impact at their respective levels:
A big wing shooter, Guidinger provides a ton of lineup flexibility. He can create his own shot from deep or shoot off of movement as a three. But his catch-and-shoot ability and passing from the top of the key allow him to play the four without sacrificing size, spacing, or anything on defense.

Hinds is the best defender in the state and one of the most versatile in the region. He has the length and lateral quickness to lockdown big guards and wings; and he has the instincts to create steals and blocks off-ball. Offensively, Hinds is rapidly improving, able to hit spot-up threes and pull-up, drive or distribute from the high post.
Level: MM
Deuce is a low-maintenance forward who can contribute in a number of ways. Defensively, he can guard down the lineup versus traditional bigs and hedge or switch ball-screens. On the opposite end, Ketner can space the floor or make a living on duck-ins and putbacks.
Level: LM-MM
Highlights
An absolute shutdown defender, Laster can cut just about anyone’s water off at the point-of-attack. At 6’5, the lanky point guard can stay in front of twitchier, smaller guards because his flexibility allows him to play low to the ground. There’s no drop-off from Laster on offense either, as he can stride into paint-touches then facilitate or finish over the defense.
Level: MM
An all-around ballplayer, Little is a guy you don’t have to call a play for because he’s an exceptional rebounder, he comes up with multiple steal per game, and he’s a knockdown shooter from the standstill. The bully-ball guard is impossible to stop when he has a full head of steam due to how he bounces off of guys. And he’s adept at attacking versus zone with how he uses his spacial awareness and ball-fakes to find angles to finish.
Level: D2-LM
Perkins’s ability to see the floor at his size is impressive. He may not see over defenses, but he sees and exploits passing windows that are around and/or through them. No skip or entry pass is off-limits. And even offenses try to attack him on defense, Perkins is dynamic enough to fight through screens and shoot gaps for steals.
