There are several talented young prospects from the Class of 2026 and 2027 who are putting in work this weekend in COMO. Here is a look at what some of those young players did during Friday’s state semifinals.
Jahidi White (Chaminade): The 6’8 2026 power forward had a strong performance in the Red Devils victory over Oak Park in the Class 6 semifinals. He had 17 points and 11 rebounds while asserting his physicality in the lane. He had a nice spin move in the paint and he was a force on the offensive boards with five. His motor was really running on Friday night.

Chase Branham Chase Branham 6'3" | PG Logan-Rogersville | 2027 State MO (Logan Rogersville): The 6’3 2027 point guard scored 17 points against John Burroughs in the Class 4 semifinals. He’s a very smooth and poised offensive player who can get a bucket at all three levels. He handles it well and he can make snappy passes with good court vision. His game is fluid without a lot of wasted motion. Hes quite a young talent.

Jimmy McKinney III (Vashon): The 6’0 2027 guard scored a team high 16 points in the Wolverines victory over Kansas City Central in the Class 6 semifinals. He showed a nice shooting stroke with three 3-pointers and he could used the jab step or ball fake to set up his move off the dribble.

Tristan Reed Tristan Reed 6'8" | PF John Burroughs | 2026 State MO (John Burroughs): The 6’8 2026 power forward had nine points and 10 rebounds in the Bombers win over Logan Rogersville in the Class 4 semifinals. He was making it happen on the offensive boards as he established strong position and snatched boards with authority to get to get buckets.

Aden Jeffries Aden Jeffries 6'7" | SF Cardinal Ritter | 2026 State MO (Cardinal Ritter): The 6’8 2026 forward played limited minutes in the Lions victory over Springfield Central in the Class 6 semifinals, but his potential was evident with his length and ability to shoot the ball. He hit a Corner 3-pointer in the second quarter. His release is quick and his shot is smooth. He is a young prospect to watch down the road.

Marcus Moore (Logan Rogersville): A robust 2026 power forward at 6’5 and 230 pounds. He was pressed into extensive duty due to foul trouble and he did a very nice job with his physical play and positioning against the big front line of John Burroughs. He also moves well and has good footwork. Look forward to seeing him in the future.
