With the 2023-24 season now behind us, let’s take a closer look at some of the local prospects who saw their stocks rise with consistent high-level play throughout their junior year.

Christopher Davis Christopher Davis 6'4" | CG Gateway | 2025 FL
Davis is an intriguing prospect with great size and length. The 6’4″ CG can score on all 3-levels and is a huge asset on the boards on each end of the floor. His size and athleticism allow him to guard multiple positions and he plays the game with great energy. Davis helped lead his Gateway squad to a 22-3 record, a District Title for the 3rd straight year, and a trip to the Regional Finals. He recorded multiple double-doubles on the season and scored a season-high 29 pts in a win over North Fort Myers, while averaging 12 ppg, 5.5 rpg, and 2.2 apg on the year.
The transfer from Canterbury fit right into his new home this past season, and was a key piece in the Viking’s turnaround this year, helping lead them to 22-7 record. The 6’7″ PF has a great frame and is long and athletic, and has really developed his post game. Defensively he is a tremendous rebounder and a presence in the paint with his ability to alter and block shots. Ashley averaged 14 ppg, 10 rpg, and 3 bpg on the season and scored a season-high 25 pts twice on the year. He recorded multiple 20+ point games and totaled 16 double-doubles in 2023-24.

The sharpshooter from SFCA had himself quite the junior campaign. Rogosich averaged 24.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 3.2 apg, and 3.6 spg including multiple 20+ scoring outings. The 5’11” PG has great handles and score from anywhere on the court. He can beat you off the dribble and get to the rim, knock down his mid-range jumper, or really hurt you from behind-the-arc where he shoots the 3-ball at an extremely high rate. Rogosich led his SFCA squad to the District Championship in 2024, where he scored a season-high 35 points and secured a District Title.
Khrye Ellis
Khrye Ellis
Ellis is a gritty, tough player who gives it 100% every time he steps on the court. He is a tremendous defender who won’t back down from any assignment and is also a great rebounder from the guard position. He’s an excellent 2-way player who plays the game hard, and was a key piece in Charlotte’s Final Four run. Ellis did a little bit of everything for the Tarpons, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the win. He scored a season-high 21 pts in a win over Naples, and averaged 7.5 ppg, 2.1 rpg, and 1.3 apg on the year.
Gollopp is a do-it -all guy who seems to flirt with a triple-double night in and night out. The 6’1″ CG had an outstanding junior year where he recorded multiple 20+ scoring games. He is a smart player who has great speed but plays the game under control. He rebounds great from the guard position and can score the ball on all 3-levels. He scored a season-high 22 pts twice on the year, while averaging 8.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg, and 3.8 apg, and may of had his best game of the year in the postseason where he finished with 22 pts, 7 rebounds, and 10 assists in a win over Venice in the District Semi-Finals.

SJN’s big man had himself a great junior season. The 6’6″ PF helped his squad to a 15-12 record, a District Championship, and a trip to the Regional Semi-Finals. Issaku is a long, athletic prospect who is very active around the rim. He rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the court and has the ability to guard multiple positions on defense. He plays the game hard and with lots of energy, and you can tell he just loves the game. Issaku averaged 10 ppg, 7.2 rpg, and 1.1 bpg on the year, to go along with posting multiple double-doubles, and had his best game in a win over Labelle where he recorded 28 pts and 19 rebounds.
