[player_tooltip player_id='2391428' first='Mike' last='Hughes'] – 6'0” / 2025 / Holy Cross / [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard: The scouting report on Hughes is that he is three-point sniper. That is true, but he can also contribute in several other ways. Hughes can serve as a tempo controlling, pass first primary ball handler. Or he can flip the switch and go to work as a scoring point guard who produces points off dribble drives. Between the quarterfinals and their 3A title game setback, Hughes averaged 19 points per contest. Hughes registered 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the Crusaders' 2A quarterfinals in win over Dock Mennonite.

[player_tooltip player_id='1130841' first='Kyree' last='Latimer'] – 6'3″ / 2024 / Constitution / Pharos Elite / Point Guard: Latimer pushed Constitution to the 2A semifinals by averaging an astonishing 24.5 points per contest. He poured in 33 points in a 2nd Round win over Mahanoy Area. In that contest, Latimer shot 9 for 10 from the charity stripe. Latimer also posted 24 points (1 Three) in their semifinal loss to Holy Cross. Latimer owns and ultra-quick first step and tight handles. So, he can blow past defenders and get into the paint to score or distribute with ease. Plus, Latimer owns a feathery jump shot and is a transition phenom.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427360' first='CJ' last='Thompson'] – 5'10” / 2027 / Holy Cross / [program_tooltip program_id='2245515' first='NEPA' last='Elite'] / Combo Guard: Working as the third option during HC's run to the 2A state title game, Thompson averaged 11.6 points per night. In the quarterfinals against Dock Mennonite, he recorded a tournament high 15 points. The first item that jumps out regarding Thompson is that each game he produces a host of steals / deflections that generate easy buckets. For a 2027, Thompson plays with impressive composure and a high IQ. Those intangibles combined with his elusive dribbles and smooth shooting stroke enable Thompson to run at either guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2226364' first='Anthony' last='Washington'] – 5'11″ / 2024 / Dock Mennonite / Combo Guard: Washington is a prospect who thrives in transition by scoring or distributing to teammates running the floor with him. In the half court, Washington can generate points off the bounce by getting to the cup. Or he can slam on the breaks and then pop a mid-range jumper. Washington will sprinkle in the occasional 3-ball too. During the 2A state tourney he averaged 14 ppg. and posted a tourney high 17 points versus Holy Cross in the semifinals. As a nice bonus to his offensive skills, Washington is a tenacious man-to-man defender.
