Deonta Mozell
Deonta Mozell
Deonta impressed me as much as any player in this John Marshall Vs. Virginia High game. The moment wasn’t big for him at all, and he seemed fearless all game. He was aggressive and finished with a game-high 20 of his team’s 32 points.
Ashaun Moore
Ashaun Moore
Ashaun Moore was locked in from the opening tip of this game. His energy was great on both ends. Ashaun drove the ball well and hit some spot-up 3s. He led John Marshall with an efficient 18 points and 4 rebounds.
Dominique Bailey Dominique Bailey 6’2″ | SG John Marshall | 2024 State VA is one of, if not the best, perimeter defender in the state, and he showed that in this game. He does a good job moving without the ball, and he found himself finishing open layups as a cutter. Dominique finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds.
Aiden Argabright Aiden Argabright 6’0″ | PG John Marshall | 2025 State #220 Nation VA is one of the smoothest and most controlled players you will see. He has been an excellent addition to this John Marshall squad and had a nice game. He had a quiet 14 points and was very active on defense. He turned a steal into a pull-up three early in the 3rd quarter that pushed the John Marshall lead to 19 following a couple of Virginia School stops. After this Argabright three John Marshall completely took over this game. He finished with 5 steals to go along with his 14 points.
Nick Millirons
Nick Millirons
Auburn lost to Lancaster, which was probably the game of the day. Nick Millirons is a great shooter and a gifted offensive player. Nick carried the Auburn offense and was unstoppable early in this game. Nick is a massive reason Auburn got off to a great start and led for a large part of this game. Nick closed out the first half terrifically with some nice drives and got to the line a lot. Nick finished with 28 points and showed off his entire offensive arsenal.
Troy Henderson Troy Henderson 5’9″ | PG Lancaster | 2025 State VA was huge in keeping Lancaster in this game early. Troy hit some tough shots all game and knocked down a couple of spot-up threes. He had 13 of Lancaster’s 15 in the first quarter. Troy was clutch down the stretch as well, with 10 in the fourth quarter. He had a huge go-ahead three-point play and put on the best performance of the day. Troy has an excellent mid-range and great range. Troy finished with 30 points and was crucial to Lancaster’s come-back win.
Daveon Smith
Daveon Smith
Daveon Smith had an outstanding second half for Lancaster. He attacked the rim and did excellent work at the line. Daveon forced turnovers and turned them into points. He had a clutch steal he turned into a layup to cut Auburn’s lead to 2 with about 2 minutes. Daevon finished with 24 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals.
