To put the final touches on the 2024 class rankings, we added 25 new players. Of those 25, 14 were from the small school ranks.

Here are the top five additions to the 2024 Prep Hoops Class Rankings from 3-1A schools:

#79 [player_tooltip player_id='2387731' first='Loch' last='North'], 6-foot-4 forward, 2024, Riverton:

A big, powerful athlete, North was a matchup nightmare for opponents. He's a good ball handler who imposes his will on smaller defenders in the open court. He can knock down shots at every level and is an explosive playmaker. He led Riverton to the state tournament by averaging 16 points and 8 boards. He topped the 1,000 point total earlier in the season.

#80 [player_tooltip player_id='2387736' first='Grayson' last='Shoemaker'], 6-foot-1 forward, 2024, Lebo:

Lebo is one of those consistent winners, always playing for titles despite changing lineups over the years. Shoemaker stepped into the leadership role a couple of years ago and consistently performed, becoming a 1,000 point scorer. By scoring 19 points and grabbing 6 rebounds per game, Shoemaker led the Wolves back to the tournament as a senior. Once in the dance, Shoemaker scored 18 and 20 points in wins to get to the title game.

#83 [player_tooltip player_id='2387748' first='Jalen' last='Massey'], 5-foot-9 guard, 2024, Lyndon:

The 2A runners-up were just loaded. It really wasn't fair for a small school to romp through the regular season with so much talent. They had so much talent, in fact, that individual stats have to be taken with a grain of salt. Point guard Massey averaged 10 points per game, but his 5 assists and 3 steals tell some of the story of how important he was. He stepped up with 15 points in a tough win over Sacred Heart to get to the championship. But the most important thing to know about Massey is his winning pedigree. The all-state running back does whatever it takes to win.

#85 [player_tooltip player_id='2387765' first='Jack' last='Schremmer'], 6-foot-2 guard, 2024, St. Mary's Colgan:

A leader of one of the top-ranked 2A teams all season, Schremmer was an all-state pick following his senior season. He averaged 18.5 points this year. The Panthers fell short of the state tournament this year, but a year ago Schremmer led his team to the big dance, averaging 13 points and 5 boards during the season. He's a shooter, a scorer and a big athlete at the guard spot.

#110 [player_tooltip player_id='2387774' first='Calvin' last='Dwyer'], 6-foot guard, 2024, Wellsville:

Dwyer found a role that suited him on the 3A state champs, playing off the team's other guards in the Eagles' up-tempo style. Lacking size, Wellsville played fast, letting Dwyer work in and out of the paint and along the baseline to exploit cracks in opposing defenses. He is a clever playmaker with great ball skills and understanding for the offense. He averaged 12 points per game as a senior. Undersized against most opponents, Dwyer held his own as a rebounder and was a troublemaker on defense. Once at the tournament, he really shined. He hit 14-21 shots to average 13 points on the title run.

Other small school seniors added to the 2024 Prep Hoops Rankings:

#111 [player_tooltip player_id='2387779' first='Dominic' last='Martin'], 6-foot guard, 2024, South Gray

#112 [player_tooltip player_id='2387785' first='Jackson' last='Risley'], 6-foot-1 forward, 2024, Caldwell

#115 [player_tooltip player_id='2387789' first='Blake' last='Skalsky'], 6-foot-5 center, 2024, Olpe

#122 [player_tooltip player_id='2387806' first='Aidan' last='Page'], 5-foot-11 guard, 2024, Bishop Seabury

#123 [player_tooltip player_id='2387809' first='Justus' last='Novotny'], 6-foot-3, forward, 2024, Pratt-Skyline

#125 [player_tooltip player_id='2387810' first='JD' last='Dintino'], 6-foot-3 forward, 2024, Plainville

#126 [player_tooltip player_id='2387811' first='Colton' last='Harbin'], 6-foot-2 guard, 2024, Wichita County

#127 [player_tooltip player_id='2387814' first='Paxton' last='Bowers'], 6-foot-1 guard, 2024, Centralia

#135 [player_tooltip player_id='2387815' first='Tony' last='Moore'], 6-foot guard, 2024, Hoisington

To put the final touches on the 2024 class rankings, we added 25 new players. Of those 25, 14 were from the small school ranks.
