These are two teams who are going to look each other in the eye and play the same style of basketball. Fast paced with toughness and a defensive mindset. Springfield Central is extremely talented, however, they haven't played nearly the competition level that Cardinal Ritter has. This is a cause for concern as the playoffs have uncovered how important scheduling is to build a team up for this moment. Springfield Central matches up very well athletically. They're a short lineup but everybody can shoot. Their 6'6 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1425344' first='Bryce' last='Walker'] is an effective player that makes a difference. We're expecting this to be a high scoring game with tons of up and down action. Who [player_tooltip player_id='1259024' first='Tyrique' last='Brooks'] guards will be something to monitor early. When locked in, he's one of the best defenders in the state. He has the size to check Quneton Parker but we could also see him on [player_tooltip player_id='1273888' first='Nashawn' last='Davis']. Lastly, Ryan Johnson is a proven coach this time of year and Coach Epps at Springfield Central is trying to have a breakthrough. Winning this game would go a long way for him and his resume as the man in charge of a program.

This is easily one of the top matchups we'll see all season long. Each squad has been regarded as one of the best teams in Class 6 all season long. Chaminade is a battle tested MCC squad while Oak Park has done a great job of maneuvering tough games in and outside of Kansas City. Their signature win was vs. Vashon is in this exact venue so they'll be comfortable playing at Mizzou Arena. The story of the game will be who plays their style and leans on the team's strength. Oak Park will be primarily 5 guards on the floor at all times. This makes them tough to guard and they move the ball as well as anybody. For Chaminade it's going to be about their size on the interior. They have a clear advantage with 6'7, 6'8, and 6'10 in the frontcourt. Being able to exploit this will be a key part of any potential win. [player_tooltip player_id='1419869' first='Corbin' last='Allen'] defends the post for Oak Park and runs PG, the only player in the state we know of to do so. He's a unique talent that has never been a question. [player_tooltip player_id='1424396' first='Collin' last='Perry'] has been Chamiande's top defender all season and expect him to be guarding Allen. The strengths and weaknesses of each team are opposite of one another so coaching, adjustments, and strategy will all be of great importance in this one.
