In order to continue providing more and more platforms for prospects in our state to get recognized, we added a new event this spring that will serve as a springboard into the grassroots season. The first annual Indiana Spring Exposure Session was held at the brand new Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon with nearly 50 prospects from around the state. Between having multiple college coaches working the event, media platforms taking in the action, and of course our Prep Ho OPS Indiana staff providing boots on the ground coverage the inaugural showcase was certainly a success.
Over the coming days our staff will provide an in-depth evaluation for every prospect that was in attendance. Here are write-ups on some the prospects that came to the event.
Just a week removed from helping leading DeMotte Christian to a Class 1A Regional appearance, Bos was in attendance at the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session. The 6’5″ wing is a talented player with an impressive combination of size, athleticism, and skill. Bos averaged 8.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and a team-leading 4.3 assists. He should step into an even larger role as a junior with some graduation happening around him.
Highlights
A 5’11” guard out of North Central High School, Cisneros displayed good ball skills at our event on Sunday. He can create for himself off of the dribble as proven during our one-on-one session, but also fits into an off-ball role well in three-on-three or five-on-five. Cisneros has a quick release in catch-and-shoot situations, but is equally comfortable attacking closeouts where he showed off a nice floater.
Highlights
Craney was named a Top Performer from our event and won the 1-on-1 competition. Here is what we had to say about Craney immediately following the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session…Nobody did more for their stock on Sunday than this prospect out of Perry Central High School. Craney won the one-on-one competition showcasing his ability to create his own shot and score at all three levels. He is a smooth, fluid athlete with good size at 6’5″ and a compact shooting motion. Craney is a name to remember heading into this summer and over the next couple of years in high school. Talented Class of 2026 prospect.
Highlights
Day averaged 7.6 points per game during his sophomore season for a 15-win Jasper team that fell in the Sectional 16 championship game to Evansville Harrison. The 6’0″ guard is an elite shooter making two per game during the high school season at 46.4%. That same shooting ability is what led to Day having an excellent performance at the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session. He can really light it up from beyond the arc with deep range and a quick trigger.
Nugen is a 5’11” sophomore guard from Medora High School that had a good showing at the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session on Sunday. He was third on the Timberjacks team in scoring averaging 10.3 points per game for the young, up-and-coming group. While displaying good court vision and playmaking ability, Nungen is at his best as a three-point shooter. He can extend the defense out to well beyond the three-point line with his deep range and quick release.
Highlights
Reese is poised for a strong summer after a productive sophomore season for the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins. The 6’0″ guard finished third on the team averaging 7.8 points per game while shooting a team-best 39% from three-point range. That shooting ability translated to Sunday at the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session as Reese shot the ball well from beyond the arc and in the mid-range. Keep an eye on him this summer with OPS Rhienhart.
Highlights
This 5’10” guard from South Bend Riley High School performed well throughout our event on Sunday. Whether it was showcasing some individual playmaking in one-on-one or three-on-three settings or excelling in his role during five-on-five he seemed to make an impact at all times. Wadley’s strong, athletic frame gives him a chance to make plays off of the dribble even against larger defenders. It was a good showing for him at the Prep Ho OPS Indiana Spring Exposure Session.
