In order to continue providing more and more platforms for prospects in our state to get recognized, we added a new event this spring that will serve as a springboard into the grassroots season. The first annual Indiana Spring Exposure Session was held at the brand new Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon with nearly 50 prospects from around the state. Between having multiple college coaches working the event, media platforms taking in the action, and of course our Prep Hoops Indiana staff providing boots on the ground coverage the inaugural showcase was certainly a success.
Over the coming days our staff will provide an in-depth evaluation for every prospect that was in attendance. For now, let’s give some quick evaluations on the 2027 prospects from Sunday’s Prep Hoops Indiana Spring Exposure Session. Below is part three of the 2027 player evaluations.
Gowin is a super short guard at around 5’7 but does play with a good IQ. Thought he worked well off the ball so he does have that combo guard ability a little bit. Tough and gritty so his small size does not slow him down in that regard.
Highlights
Grindstaff is short but strong guard. Did really well in the 1v1 challenge and thought his defensive work was stellar like the last time I watched him at the freshman showcase. He works hard on the floor.
Highlights
Vaidya is 5’7 lead guard that is quick on the ball. Very active player on both ends of the floor and showed good hands on the defensive end. Although he is shorter, he gets to the basketball pretty well.
Washington is a 5’6 guard that shows a ton of speed on and off the ball. Aggressive player on both ends of the floor and has the ability to play through traffic. He is an impact guard that has a lot of upside.
Lindemann was one of the top scoring guards that I saw all day on Sunday. He scored the ball in so many ways and was able to create on the ball as well. Like his quickness and motor as well. Under-the-radar 2027.
