Mgbejiofor was a late addition to the Winston-Salem Christian School rotation this past December as he debuts at 21st in the latest rankings update. At 6-foot-11, he runs the floor well and does well to make his presence felt around the rim on both ends of the floor. He’s a fearless competitor who’s finding his own in the painted area. As he continues to develop in the frontcourt, look for him to grow tremendously with Winston-Salem Christian.
Oba is an emerging name to keep an eye on with Moravian Prep/YNG Dreamerz in the latest rankings update for the 2026 class. At 6-foot-6, he’s an athletic slashing presence who’s shown flashes of his ability to get downhill and make things happen off the bounce. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on with DreamVision Basketball this grassroots cycle.
Highlights
Whitfield is an emerging backcourt presence to get to know in the Victory Christian Center rotation following their NCISAA 1A State Championship. He was a feature name in their scoring attack as he produced 12.0 PPG as one of the top 3-point shooters in the 1A ranks. He knocked down 69 3-pointers to finish fourth in the NCISAA 1A ranks, according to MaxPreps, while shooting 38 percent from deep. He put up 10 points on 3 made 3-pointers in their state title victory over United Faith Christian Academy. He’s a lead guard prospect to get to know in the 2026 class.
Banks is another new addition to the latest rankings update in the 2026 class out of Hickory Grove Christian. He poured in 22.1 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 1.7 SPG and 1.5 APG on 41 percent shooting from the floor as a top sophomore name to know on MaxPreps. At 5-foot- 10, he’s a lead guard who does well to push the envelope off the bounce, get paint touches and make things happen with the ball in his hands. He’s a guard presence to get to know in the state of North Carolina.
Highlights
Holmes makes his debut in the 2026 class in the latest rankings update at No. 42 out of Garner High. He’s a versatile presence at 6-foot-5 who’s shown he can operate on the interior and on the wing with his length and athleticism. He was recently offered by Arizona State as the Trojans season wrapped up. He’ll be a name to keep eyes on with SW15H Elite on the grassroots scene.
Hill joins the 2026 class in the latest rankings update as he debuts at No. 47 out of Southern Guilford. He’s another prospect with the Storm to get to know following a productive sophomore season. He’s a gritty defender who isn’t afraid to sacrifice for the team and take a charge or knock down a big shot. He stepped up in a big way for them in the backcourt with his play.
