PHI Spring Exposure Camp: Team 2 and Team 3 Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Hoops Illinois Spring Exposure Camp was held over the weekend in Aurora.&nbsp; We have wall to wall coverage of the event for you!&nbsp; Here I dive into the prospects that caught my attention on a pair of the 5 on 5 teams at the event in <strong>PHI Spring Exposure Camp: Team 2 and Team 3 Standouts</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>Team 2 Top Performers</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terry Ricks (Westinghouse – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ricks is a 5'10” point guard from Westinghouse that had a strong performance at the Spring Showcase.&nbsp; The lead guard is a plus pull up shooter that knocked them down from mid-range and three on a regular basis.&nbsp; Crisp pull up shooter that has good form.&nbsp; Got loose a few times in transition and had active hands defensively.&nbsp; Slick dish for a finisher at the rim as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1385311' first='Robert' last='Walls'] (DePaul Prep – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walls is coming off a state championship with DePaul Prep.&nbsp; Showed off what he can fully do in this up and down setting.&nbsp; Burst with the ball in his hands as he consistently got to the rim all day long.&nbsp; Has shake and burst to get in the paint where he finished along with also throwing some outstanding dimes to shooters dishing it with flair.&nbsp; He just moved so much faster and looked way more athletic than everyone else in the backcourt when we saw him.&nbsp; Legit D1 prospect.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1385309' first='Keshaun' last='Vaval'] (Evergreen Park – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Vaval is a combo guard that is a smooth operator.&nbsp; He scores a lot of his points in the transition game where he finishes well around the hoop.&nbsp; Gets in the paint using his smooth acceleration and hesitation game for layups and runners.&nbsp; Also hit a wing three in the game we saw.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Devin Ossinac (Lake Wales, FL – 2024)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ossinac made the trip up from Florida and was solid in his outing.&nbsp; The 5'9” guard is a shifty ball handler that won off ball screens getting to the cup along with draining a couple of long balls.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1658189' first='Christian' last='Harrell'] (Yorkville – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harrell is a 6'1” shooting guard that brings some projectability to the table.  The southpaw won off the bounce with a couple strong left handed takes including a scoop shot.  Flashed the athleticism off the bounce along with hitting an open corner three showing clean mechanics.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><u>Team 3 Top Performers</u></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jeremy Willingham Jr (Lake Wells, FL – 2024)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another 2024 prospect from Florida that played in the event.&nbsp; Strong bodied shooting guard that got on the offensive glass for several put backs.&nbsp; Hit a couple threes including one where he creates space with a jab step.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1874733' first='Hayden' last='Hodgson'] (Genoa Kingston – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hodgson really jumped on our radar with a strong performance at the event.&nbsp; At 6'5” this wing has good positional size and can really stroke it from three.&nbsp; Knocked in four of them in the game we saw both off the catch and pulling up.&nbsp; Clean and easy release.&nbsp; Also mixed in a put back, floater, and hook shot.&nbsp; Threw a long outlet pass and overall was tough and fundamentally sound.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2217983' first='Rasim' last='Johnson'] (Nazareth – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Johnson is a long and lanky 6'2” wing that was active on the glass high pointing them.&nbsp; Also looked very smooth shooting the rock hitting one off the catch and another off a dribble handoff.&nbsp; Solid passer and ran the floor hard in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] (Bishop McNamara – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Felton is a 6'1” guard with a long and lanky frame.&nbsp; Slick ball handler that at times got a bit too fancy with it, but there is a lot of creativity in there.&nbsp; Drive and kick passes.&nbsp; Can create off the bounce.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Da'Mari Pinson (Steinmetz College Prep – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pinson is a wide bodied 6'4” forward that is light on his feet for his size.&nbsp; Back to back plays he went spin move on the baseline for a finish.&nbsp; Bit undersized, but makes up for it with his length and nimble footwork.&nbsp; Knocked in a mid-range jumper and won on a straight line take overpowering his opponent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2371567' first='Brandon' last='Pearce'] (Plainfield South – 2025)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pearce is a 6'0” guard that plays taller than his height with great length.&nbsp;
