The Prep Hoops Illinois Spring Exposure Camp was held over the weekend in Aurora. We have wall to wall coverage of the event for you! Here I dive into the prospects that caught my attention on a pair of the 5 on 5 teams at the event in PHI Spring Exposure Camp: Team 2 and Team 3 Standouts!

Team 2 Top Performers

Terry Ricks (Westinghouse – 2025)

Ricks is a 5'10” point guard from Westinghouse that had a strong performance at the Spring Showcase. The lead guard is a plus pull up shooter that knocked them down from mid-range and three on a regular basis. Crisp pull up shooter that has good form. Got loose a few times in transition and had active hands defensively. Slick dish for a finisher at the rim as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1385311' first='Robert' last='Walls'] (DePaul Prep – 2025)

Walls is coming off a state championship with DePaul Prep. Showed off what he can fully do in this up and down setting. Burst with the ball in his hands as he consistently got to the rim all day long. Has shake and burst to get in the paint where he finished along with also throwing some outstanding dimes to shooters dishing it with flair. He just moved so much faster and looked way more athletic than everyone else in the backcourt when we saw him. Legit D1 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='1385309' first='Keshaun' last='Vaval'] (Evergreen Park – 2025)

Vaval is a combo guard that is a smooth operator. He scores a lot of his points in the transition game where he finishes well around the hoop. Gets in the paint using his smooth acceleration and hesitation game for layups and runners. Also hit a wing three in the game we saw.

Devin Ossinac (Lake Wales, FL – 2024)

Ossinac made the trip up from Florida and was solid in his outing. The 5'9” guard is a shifty ball handler that won off ball screens getting to the cup along with draining a couple of long balls.

[player_tooltip player_id='1658189' first='Christian' last='Harrell'] (Yorkville – 2025)

Harrell is a 6'1” shooting guard that brings some projectability to the table. The southpaw won off the bounce with a couple strong left handed takes including a scoop shot. Flashed the athleticism off the bounce along with hitting an open corner three showing clean mechanics.

Team 3 Top Performers

Jeremy Willingham Jr (Lake Wells, FL – 2024)

Another 2024 prospect from Florida that played in the event. Strong bodied shooting guard that got on the offensive glass for several put backs. Hit a couple threes including one where he creates space with a jab step.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874733' first='Hayden' last='Hodgson'] (Genoa Kingston – 2025)

Hodgson really jumped on our radar with a strong performance at the event. At 6'5” this wing has good positional size and can really stroke it from three. Knocked in four of them in the game we saw both off the catch and pulling up. Clean and easy release. Also mixed in a put back, floater, and hook shot. Threw a long outlet pass and overall was tough and fundamentally sound.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217983' first='Rasim' last='Johnson'] (Nazareth – 2025)

Johnson is a long and lanky 6'2” wing that was active on the glass high pointing them. Also looked very smooth shooting the rock hitting one off the catch and another off a dribble handoff. Solid passer and ran the floor hard in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] (Bishop McNamara – 2025)

Felton is a 6'1” guard with a long and lanky frame. Slick ball handler that at times got a bit too fancy with it, but there is a lot of creativity in there. Drive and kick passes. Can create off the bounce.

Da'Mari Pinson (Steinmetz College Prep – 2025)

Pinson is a wide bodied 6'4” forward that is light on his feet for his size. Back to back plays he went spin move on the baseline for a finish. Bit undersized, but makes up for it with his length and nimble footwork. Knocked in a mid-range jumper and won on a straight line take overpowering his opponent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2371567' first='Brandon' last='Pearce'] (Plainfield South – 2025)

Pearce is a 6'0” guard that plays taller than his height with great length. Blocked several shots, had a steal that he turned into a dunk, and has a free flowing release on his shot.
