Joson Sanon Joson Sanon 6'5" | SF Vermont Academy | 2024 State #11 Nation NLG , fresh off a commitment to Arizona and a subsequent re-classification up to the class of 2024, takes over the top spot in the New England rankings!
Sanon’s re-classification caused a few changes at the top; notably, Tyler Betsey Tyler Betsey 6'8" | SF St. Thomas More | 2024 State #32 Nation NLG (#2), Kur Teng Kur Teng 6'4" | SG Bradford Christian | 2024 State #37 Nation NLG (#3), and Kayvaun Mulready Kayvaun Mulready 6'4" | CG Worcester Academy | 2024 State #90 Nation NLG (#4) all slide back one spot. While Andre Mills Andre Mills 6'3" | CG Brimmer & May | 2024 State #116 Nation NLG , who had a terrific prep season, rises into the Top 5.
At the time of publishing, all 10 of our Top 10 ranked prospects have announced their college commitments. In fact, 18 of the Top 20 have made their college commitments known; beyond even that, 37 of the Top 50 have already decided on their college destinations for next fall. The highest uncommitted prospect is Daniel Johnson Daniel Johnson 6'7" | SF Brewster Academy | 2024 State NLG , who checks in at #13 in these rankings.
In all, there are now 205 2024 prospects ranked in New England. They come from high schools and prep schools in all six New England states and range from Top 25 prospects nationally all the way to regional, small college recruits.
The rankings include 91 prospects from Massachusetts, 59 from Connecticut, 19 from New Hampshire, 13 from Rhode Island, 12 from Maine, and 11 from Vermont.
Positionally, they include 23 point guards, 37 combo guards, 43 shooting guards, 44 small forwards, 28 power forwards, and 30 centers.
With state and prep championships now wrapped up and post-season events coming to a close, this release puts a bow on rankings for the class of 2024. We’ll continue to cover any college commitments or prospects that choose to do a post-graduate year, but these rankings officially conclude our evaluations for 2024s (at least for rankings sake).
