A few of our rankings are wildly off on some players. Remember all rankings estimate where a basketball player will be at their peak. Can they play college basketball at some level? If yes, then they will be somewhere in the Top 125ish of their class.

Was: Unranked
Will be: Top 30
Why?: Dominated the low-block, completely overpowering FACS' Kris Carroll. FACS is a quick, athletic team, but they lack a traditional big, since way back when [player_tooltip player_id='1400890' first='Kingston' last='Goodwin'] suffered a season-ending injury in November. Bolden is listed 6-foot-6. I question that. To my eyes he is 6'5" max. Regardless of his height, he can play basketball. Probably will be a D2+/LM forward. Athletic enough to be a two-way wing. PCA uses him as a backup center right now. Bolden took a three-pointer in the fourth quarter. It did not look good.

Was: Watch List
Will be: Top 15
Why?: Tremendous height for his college position. Built like DeMarr Johnson (University of Cincinnati / NBA)

Was: Unranked
Will be: Top 110
Why?: Capable of protecting the basketball with his strength. Dribbles well enough.

Was: #5
Will be: #4-#6
Why?: Cello is ranked appropriately right now. The 8-0 third quarter run by FACS sparked from the Cello defensive pressure and-1 finish. Jackson is a big-bodied guard with tremendous skill and confidence. His ceiling is undetermined, maybe higher than teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1549096' first='MJ' last='Hayes'] (PrepHoopsTN #2)? Breakdown dribble capability unlike anyone in the class.

Was: #42
Will be: 29ish
Why?: Offensively, Judson was nearly perfect. The 6-foot-7 guard made multiple pull-up jumpers in tight spaces. His handle was fine, not that much of a liability. The fear with a tall point guard is that they are going to get ripped. Judson did not turn the ball too often. His team, on the other hand, was unsteady in the second half with the ball. Judson is already signed to Union University (D2). They are getting a great piece. This feels a little like the time Class of 2022 J.J. Wheat signed with Freed-Hardeman (NAIA) and they won the regular season conference title two years later (2024). Judson might be a D1 guy getting snagged by a D2 program.
