Miciah Ehirim
Miciah Ehirim
Miciah Ehirim dropped 14 in an opening round loss to Tucker County. Miciah is one of WV’s top 2027 players and averaged nearly 20/ppg during regular season play. We’ll keep you updated on Miciah’s progress through this spring/summer AAU season.
Rayden Triplett Rayden Triplett 6’3″ | SF Webster County | 2024 State WV scored 19 including 4-11 from beyond the arc in a loss to regional rival Tucker County. Rayden is an outstanding transition finisher and slasher in the half court. Triplett is one of WV’s best multi-sport athletes and could have his choice of sports to play after graduation.
Eli Sancomb Eli Sancomb 6’4″ | SF Wheeling Central Catholic | 2026 State WV scored 11 all in the second half to down Williamstown in quarterfinal play and 13 points including 6-6 from the line vs Bluefield in the state semi-final. Aside from point totals it was easy to see that Sancomb is on a different level, despite a recent knee injury. Sancomb at 6’4″ has elite ball handling skills, so much so there was little ball pressure on him when the ball was in his hands. Eli has a well above average midrange and pull up game that is next to impossible for WV defenders to match. Look for him to draw immediate attention on the AAU circuit and likely gain and offer or two.
Max Olejasz Max Olejasz 6’6″ | PF Wheeling Central Catholic | 2026 State WV is who we thought he was, a tough and talented post player who doesn’t mind stepping away from the paint to handle business. Max is one of the most talented post players in the 2026 class if not all of WV in all classes. Very savvy and strong, Max does all the small things needed to keep offensive continuity but will baseline dunk on you if you don’t pay attention which was evident in the state semi-final.
Highlights
Ashton Davis Ashton Davis 6’2″ | SG Tug Valley | 2025 State WV is the steady hand that seems to guide Tug Valley during tough times. When teammates get alot of defensive attention, Davis steps up and delivers as he did in state semi-final delivering 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Davis only a junior returns next year with two other underclass guards.
Evan Swain Evan Swain 6’7″ | C Ravenswood | 2025 State WV is the towering force behind Ravenswood basketball this year. Swain also a standout pitcher in baseball, brought it to the Charleston Civic Center state tournament week and showed up big in Ravenswood’s semi-final loss to eventual champ Charleston Catholic. Swain posted a solid 11 points on 5-7 shooting and 7 rebounds. At 6’7″ Swain is sure to not only get looks in baseball next year but basketball as well.
Trevan Bonner Trevan Bonner 6’0″ | CG Tucker County | 2025 State WV popped off for 14 points in Tucker’s quarterfinal win then 23 points on 10-16 shooting in the state semi-final over rival Webster County. Bonner is one of WV’s top guards regardless of class or division. He’s a fast athletic gunslinger who can snowball the scoreboard in a hurry on opponents. Bonner will have some college options soon.
Cruz Isaly Cruz Isaly 6’0″ | PG Williamstown | 2025 State WV showed why he’s a rising prospect from the small school ranks. Isaly dropped in 16 points on 6-10 shooting vs a big and talented Wheeling Central team. Isaly displayed a ton of speed and energy on both ends and did nothing but solidify his place on many D2/D3 recruiting shortlists.
