If you’re looking for a leader and tough as nails PG Coleman is your guy. The 2026 guard has done nothing but win during his High School career, yet still the questions remain. Putting together another strong Spring and Summer should go a long way to all but earasing any doubts about his play.
Highlights
Steward is one of the most exciting players in the state. The high flyer sometimes seems more right at home in the more wide open style of Grassroots basketball. He took a step in the right direction of improving his shooting, and will be out to prove to scouts and coaches that he’s able to make the simple play as frequently as the sensational.
You could make the argument that Coleman is one of the more underatted players in his class. The Desert Pines wing has spent the first two years of his high school career contributing to a 5A contender. He’s good on both sides of the ball, however this summer look for him to take on more of a scoring and playmaking role for his grassroots organizations.

Makur is unknown to many in the state, however his length and size place immediate attention on him. I think the big fella will be out to prove that he’s a legit D1 big man prospect this summer, expect him to do that by continuing to display his tremendous shot blocking and rebounding skills.
I expect Harris to compete like a crazed animal off the leash. After siting out the season for Centenial, he has a chance to remind everyone why he was one of the top players in his class during his freshman season. Harris is a dynamic guard that will have a field day, playing in space with the ball in his hands this Grassroots season
It was great to see Schweiter during last weekend’s Venom Rankings Run. Fresh off a championship with Red Rock, he reminded everyone why he’s considered one of the top shooters in his class. Looks like the sniper is going to run with Prominent Elite this summer, which should give him a great opportunity to showcase his talents.

I was thoroughly disapointed not to get a chance to see Goss play a ton during his breakout High School season. The mult skilled guard looks to make people take notice this Grassroots season, as he’s shown the ability to play effective with or without the ball in his hands.
Thought Allen was a great addition to Democracy Prep’s state title team. The unselfish guard improved his defense, showing the ability to be both a devastating on ball defender as well as anticipate and play passing lanes. This Grassroots season should see him play more with the ball in his hands, putting his scoring and playmaking ability on display.
