Maple Grove vs Osseo - First, what a finish. [player_tooltip player_id='1284125' first='De'Mari' last='Larkins'], the 2024 Senior, gave it his all scoring 30 points to lead all scores. He even hit the go ahead shot with 10 seconds left. A scramble ensued when the Crimson brought the ball down, it trickled to freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] who had 15 points, knocked down the game winner. Ann, not his first game winner of the year, had ice in his veins again.

None of Osseo's other players scored more than 10 but Larkins and fellow Senior Temisan Denado along with Ty Swenson play a tough man-to-man pressure defense and limited [player_tooltip player_id='1293966' first='Henry' last='Stang'] to 12 points. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1617766' first='Keegan' last='Harney'] came up big however with 18 to lead the Crimson on his four 3-pointers. Harney is a good outside shooter that spreads the floor incredibly well.

https://twitter.com/ChazMootzTV/status/1766313615575945408

Hermantown vs Rockridge - Hermantown came out on top in a 101-99 shootout. A pair of Hermantown 2024 seniors carried them, [player_tooltip player_id='1418945' first='Nathan' last='Hill'] scored 32 points and Abe Soumis had 27.

Abe Soumis the six-foot-four 2024 wing from Hermantown has been on a tear this season and recently before this game he had 48 point, 22 rebound, and 6 steal game versus Chisago Lakes who is now in front of them for state. [player_tooltip player_id='1418945' first='Nathan' last='Hill'], a six-foot-one-inch guard from Hermantown who is a tough finisher, can make shots from the outside, and is quick enough to squad you up and make a move to get by you to get to the rim.

Fridley vs Big Lake - Fridley beat Big Lake 73-54 in the 3A Section 5 semi-finals behind senior's [player_tooltip player_id='1296151' first='Antwan' last='Smith'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2365722' first='Gideon' last='Cooper']. Fridley will get Totino-Grace in the Section Final. Smith, a five-foot-ten-inch lefty guard is a dangerous perimeter defender that uses strength and length to bother ball handlers, scored 21 points. Cooper, a long athletic six-foot-six-inch forward who's always a threat for blocking shots from Fridley had 16 points.

Big Lake's [player_tooltip player_id='1628769' first='Owen' last='Wilczek'], a six-foot-five-inch forward, scored 11 points for the Hornets. Wilczek has been one of Big Lake's best players all year as a 2026 sophomore, finishing inside, and scoring outside. [player_tooltip player_id='1428874' first='Owen' last='Layton'], who averaged 12.4 points per game, had 10 points for the Hornets.

Eastview vs Apple Valley - In the Section 4A semi Eastview took down the Eagles 73-63 behind Colorado State Commit senior [player_tooltip player_id='1287440' first='Jonathan' last='Mekonnen'] and his 37 point, 14 rebound performance. Mekonnen, a six-foot-six-inch wing, is a threat all over the floor, a true 3-threat offensive threat. Defensively he can swallow up just about any player on the perimeter. [player_tooltip player_id='2228410' first='Abdulqadir' last='Abdulqadir'], who's a six-foot-five-inch senior guard, can bother opponents on the perimeter, and use length to block shots, added 16 points with three 3-pointers.

Apple Valley 2026 sophomore wing Camare Young had 12 points while Nati Tizazu had 18 points.

Chisago Lakes vs North Branch - 2024 Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1288720' first='Patrick' last='Rowe'] is having himself one of those senior year's that carries his team to state. Chisago Lakes won their first division title in 19 years and versus North Branch they made it clear they weren't done yet. Rowe, a six-foot-seven-inch wing with guard skills, had 20 points in their 69-62 win. They got a team high 23 points from fellow 2024 Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1288743' first='Zander' last='Schmidt'].

North Branch's Evan Overson kept them in the game with team high 20 points while senior's [player_tooltip player_id='1167067' first='Brody' last='Beaver'], a six-foot-two-inch guard had 16 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2104446' first='Tyler' last='Minke'] had 15 points. Beaver and Minke play very similarly and inner change very well from one leading the offense to the other doing the same.

Maple Grove vs Osseo - First, what a finish. De’Mari Larkins De’Mari Larkins De’Mari Larkins 5'9" | PG Osseo | 2024 State MN , the 2024 Senior, gave it his all scoring 30 points to lead all scores. He even hit the go ahead shot with 10 seconds left. A scramble ensued when the Crimson brought the ball down, it trickled to freshman Baboucarr Ann Baboucarr Ann Baboucarr Ann 6'5" | SF/CG Maple Grove | 2027 State #101 Nation MN who had 15 points, knocked down the game winner.
