Davon Grant Davon Grant 6'5" | SF Dekalb | 2026 State IL (Dekalb)
Previous Ranking: #18
Current Ranking: #10
Grant was absolutely dominant during the second half of the season each time we saw DeKalb play. The combo forward mostly plays on the interior right now where he uses his elite athleticism, power, and motor to dominate opponents! Absolute force on the offensive glass with his quickness scoring for second chance points. Throws down nasty dunks, rebounds at a high level, and attacks from the mid-post. Excellent defender! If he gets a jumper it is over!
Karson Thomas Karson Thomas 6'4" | SF Lincoln Way East | 2026 State IL (Lincoln Way East)
Previous Ranking: #23
Current Ranking: #14
Thomas is a strong and athletic wing that has a ton of upside. The small forward has a chance to be one of the best two way prospects in the class. He can defend multiple positions, rebound, and score in a variety of ways. Explosive off the bounce and the feathery jumper has made major strides over the last year.
Christopher Kirkpatrick Christopher Kirkpatrick 6'3" | PG New Trier | 2026 State IL (New Trier)
Previous Ranking: #28
Current Ranking: #17
Kirkpatrick turned the corner during the second half of his junior year. Did it both as a scorer and distributor. He is a plus shooter that has college range on his three point shot. Quick off the bounce getting downhill for scores at the cup. Crisp passer setting others up and has that “it” factor in his game.
JC Anderson JC Anderson 6'7" | C Mt. Zion | 2026 State IL (Mt. Zion)
Previous Ranking: #45
Current Ranking: #21
Anderson will not play hoops in college as he is one of the premier football prospects in the state. He established himself in their state title run and overall in the last two months of the season he is legitimately one of the best bigs in the state. Great low post game being efficient with his touches, sound footwork, and rebounds in his area.
Marshawn Cocroft Marshawn Cocroft 6'0" | PG Aurora Christian | 2026 State IL (Aurora Christian)
Previous Ranking: #76
Current Ranking: #30
Cocroft is a high scoring smaller guard that led his team to the final four. He is a blur with the ball in his hands. Can get to the rim with his quickness off the bounce and has deep range on his three point shot. Exciting young guard that is fun to watch!
Ahmad Lee Ahmad Lee 6'2" | SG Lincoln Park | 2026 State IL (Lincoln Park)
Previous Ranking: #44
Current Ranking: #36
Lee is a two guard that can score from all three levels. Had a few big games including getting his mid-range jumpers flowing on a regular basis. Can stretch it to three on occasion and has burst off the bounce for slithery takes.
Trey Brost Trey Brost 5'10" | PG Bolingbrook | 2026 State IL (Bolingbrook)
Previous Ranking: #55
Current Ranking: #46
Brost is a high level shot maker that continues to progress in other areas of his game. He can really make threes and moves well without the ball. Showed growth when he played on the ball and is just a great glue guy that should continue to improve his all-around game.
Isaiah Coleman Isaiah Coleman 6'6" | PF Simeon | 2026 State IL (Simeon)
Previous Ranking: #72
Current Ranking: #50
Coleman had a very good sophomore season. Broad shouldered and long armed post that anchors on the defensive end. Protects the rim, rebounds well in his area, and can score around the basket.
Claude Mpouma Claude Mpouma 6'7" | C Phillips | 2026 State IL (Phillips)
Previous Ranking: #75
Current Ranking: #60
Mpouma is a wide bodied five man that has long arms. Nimble footwork around the hoop, touch scoring with short shots, and is a volume rebounder. Clogs up on the interior defensively. Excellent post season run for the big man.
Tyjuan Hunter (Hope)
Previous Ranking: #81
Current Ranking: #73
Hunter is a plus shooter with super deep range. His height holds him back a little, but with his shot making and smooth ball handling he is a legit college prospect without a doubt!
